Attempted to learn this song from Marty Music and felt that there was something missing. This sounds a lot more like the song right away.
Yes, same here! Marty's is missing that Dm hammer-on in the verse, which is definitely on the recording. I've always fumbled with the strumming pattern at that exact verse part up until now. This tutorial nails it, 100% Thank you!!

Struggling with the pull offs. Beginner and don't have the finger dexterity
This video was massively helpful! I couldn’t get the main part of the song down by watching any other videos. They would explain it in a way they’re weren’t doing so when I did it it didn’t sound the same at all. But you really deep detailed how to and I know can do it! So thank you! 🙏🏻
Great tutorial! This is one of the songs that motivated me to learn guitar and your video has made the desire to play it come to fruition. struggling with the d minor pull of hammer on the most. my ring finger seems to block the high E from playing. that and I let off my pointing finger when trying to move my pinkey. working on it.

with the second pull off what string are we plucking
It seems when your playing the chords and when u play C before you go into the hammer on and pull off ur going down up down and on the last up your hitting the bottom two strings in the D chord. I thought it was four strums then go up up down on the D chord. Sounds crazy the way i explain it im just trying to get the chords down thanks

did the same dumb shit. Trick is to not form the chord but do the 3-1, 3-1 run with just the index and ring finger . Release the chord grip and only use those two fingers.

barry moore Yeah, its a tricky one and it's not used as often as the other chords. Take a week and focus on it. Put your fingers on it, take them off and shake them, rinse ad repeat. You'll get it Barry. Thanks for watching buddy!

You might not be pulling off hard enough. It could also be that a fret needs to be filed down a bit. Let me know and thanks for watching!

is there an alternative to pulling off? I get the rest but it doesn't really make a sound when I pull off
When you pull off, make sure you're pulling off the strings to the side as opposed to just taking pressure off the strings. This takes a while to get good at but anyone can do it. I don't think it would sound the same without the pull off.
I just had the same problem but I figured it out. with what ever finger you're pulling off with, strum that string. so youre not just pulling your finger off but pulling the string.
