It was a beautiful Spring afternoon in Porto Alegre and the place was packed. When it reached the last part everybody sang along. It was so emotional! Legião forever!

Hi Frank! This video is from the early 80's. On the Bass guitar, Renato Rocha, who didn't stay long on the band. This is one of my favorite LU's songs. And yes, Renato Russo was unique. Huge Singer, huge artist. There is a guy singing nowadays with the other two, because people still need to listen to Legião. You should listen to them now. The Guy is @adre_frateschi. Legião Urbana is the biggest and the best Brazilian rock band, it reflected the thinking and feeling of the Brazilian youth not only about themselves but about the political situation in the country, unfortunately it stills very accurate nowadays. Renato was poet and his lyrics touched not only his generation... one of my favorites is “Daniel na cova dos leões”

Hi Frank! This video is from the early 80's. On the Bass guitar, Renato Rocha, who didn't stay long on the band. This is one of my favorite LU's songs. And yes, Renato Russo was unique. Huge Singer, huge artist. There is a guy singing nowadays with the other two, because people still need to listen to Legião. You should listen to them now. The Guy is @adre_frateschi. He is an actor and great singer. TKS.

Legião Urbana is the biggest and the best Brazilian rock band, it reflected the thinking and feeling of the Brazilian youth not only about themselves but about the political situation in the country, unfortunately it stills very accurate nowadays. Renato was poet and his lyrics touched not only his generation... one of my favorites is “Daniel na cova dos leões”

Thats the best music of Legião Urbana for me. That music hurt me in my soul, thats nostalgic, my childhood. Most of the musics remember Brasília in the 80's. About his voice, its really diferent look for a studio version.
