The Indian monk then taught those Chinese monks his Indian martial arts so they can defend themselves. Legend has it that that evolved to became Shaolin Kung Fu.

You can go out of the temple and find your own glory and fame, by participating in a contest/show they can show off their hard work. He's not a shaolin, they have a very strict diet that makes it impossible to build that much muscle, failure to follow this diet will get you kicked out, they are very serious about this, part of the conditioning is to strengthen muscles without any bulk,, the guy in the video has too much muscle to be a shaolin

I don't know if he's a shaolin Master, he uses the monkey Stick Form which is also used in Shaolin but Shaolin is the Temple and Shaolin Monks(Masters) are the people that teach there or did learn there and became (Warrior) Monks. Look up Ranton, he explains it a bit more in his Shaolin videos
