Randomly heard/saw this game mentioned/shown on a recent Gamespot video, could not find a major reviewer when doing a quick YT search to learn more about it. So I "settled" for your video. But in the end I lost nothing from missing out on a major channel's review as your review was informative and well done!
I bought this game after I saw my friend playing it - and it's highly addictive. I love how it just runs below whatever I am working on. Its so relaxing and its adorable.
My wishlist is the currency should transfer between maps, and all maps should run at once. It just feels like a waste of time moving onto the other maps.
Just bought this game simply because i had it on my wishlist, it's on sale, it has "Overwhelmingly Positive" reviews, and it just looks so awesome. i'm 40 years old and therefore have a deep affection for pixelart games. i have about 3500 hours in Stardew Valley, for example. i have not even launched it yet but i'm about to. i'm one of those gamers that sits down at his current gen upgraded and far too capable PC after work and whom ends up watching RUclips for 6 hours straight instead of gaming. this is PERFECT. can't wait to play it! time to get started. 😎 thanks y'all!
That's so hilariously on-point; I've upgraded my PCs (yes, plural) as part of my mid-life crisis and am often too tired at the end of the day to game (other than a quick session of Farm Together 2...another one to check out). Rusty's Retirement is perfect to tinker with as you multitask. Enjoy! 😁
@@BuckeyeBunny I'll check that one out for sure! thanks for the heads up! I subscribed yesterday so I am stoked to see more content from you! PS- Rusty's Retirement is addictive! I love it! 😎😎😎
I don't know of any that take 1/4 strip of the screen like this, but many other games like Chillquarium have a windowed mode so you can make it small and move it wherever you want on your monitor. I would imagine other games will follow suit after witnessing the success of Rusty's Retirement, a little game made by a solo developer. 😊
Ok should not of watched this RUclips, cause now I bought the game. What a bargain of a game for a few bucks. Its all your fault BUckeye Bunny haha. **Subbed!
Sorry, Jack. When they bring fiber optic internet out our way, I'll consider streaming a relaxing game now and then, but it won't be crazy "playground Fortnite" like before.
Recommend the discord community. This game is made by a little team and they need our love!
Definitely! I joined their Discord. :)

His first game is a really cool Metroidvania :D
I assume you mean Haiku the Robot...I haven't checked that out yet, but I see Haiku makes an appearance in Rusty's Retirement. :)
Do you maybe know any similar games, which don't take the whole screen? The idea is great.
