I have watched many people make fabric roses and still couldn't make one myself. Your such a good teacher that I now understand what I was doing wrong and can make my own roses as well. Thank you very much for your videos. LOVE THEM!
Your very welcome. You are the exact person I was thinking of. We all have different gifts. Pass on the joy of inspiration.
Great teacher you are
Thank you! - your tutorial makes this look less daunting and I feel a tad more confident at starting one of these. x
That was my goal beginners from a different perspective.
I loved and appreciated the video and not your rude comments from others. Keep up what your doing ! It's so easy to insult someone when you hide behind a screen. Just Ignore negativity!
Thanks, After several years I have learned to let it slide. I sometimes report spam or block.
Thank you. I was taught this when I was 20 by church women for a graduation ceremony but 10 years later and I forgot already. It's interesting that you work from left to right. I worked it from right to left (I am right-handed).
So interesting, I had a difficult time learning until I tried this way. I like to teach details I figured out to help beginners.
Thank you so much! I managed to make a bunch of flowers for my sister. Great tutorial! ❤️
I am glad you were successful.
Thank you so much. I am a beginner, that is already hooked, and you helped me understand soooooooo much better that just trying and not expecting to be perfect is ok.
So glad it helped. Keep practicing
Thank for sharing, I love making these with different fabrics also.
Thanks, Liz, for the great tutorial. I've been wanting to learn how to make rolled roses. Thanks!
Your welcome.
Very NIce clear video Mrs Benavides. you really have mastery over folded roses
Best tutorial for these flowers I have found. All of your little "tips", and the way you explain things in particular, I find to be the most helpful. Thanks so much!
Good morning That was exactly my purpose. Not just a repeat of other tutorials. Instead the details and things that stumped me while learning. Happy Crafting.
Thank you 😊 for this
This is the best tutorial, and I've watched many. It's the beginning and the roll that is a pickle for me. Thank you for the step by step...s..l..o..w..l..y. thanks!
I made it just for you. 😉🙃 happy Crafting
Love, love, love, your attention to teaching detail!! I can finally understand how this works!! ❤
Good morning, I made it just for you. 😉

Thank youuuuu soooo much, and thank you for going slow and explaining so clearly 🤗💐🌸🕇! Jesus bless you.
Thanks so much! I love how you start them...really good idea.
I have one more rose tutorial on my Facebook page.
I've made roses with jean material leftover from cutting off to make shorts. It's a little harder and definitely had to use the glue! Also, it's so true when you said they don't have to be perfect.
Glad you were successful
Thanks very much for your tutorial for making fabrics flower ,i learned a lot from you and I love them

This is a great video. I love the flowers you created.
You are a very good teacher and have a calm voice. I will try this with needle & thread. The glue is less eco friendly.
Sounds awesome 👌., Glad you are inspired. Most of my videos are geared to new learners.
The first time I watched clip of how to make a roe , I got to make one myself and it was so beautiful , if it wasn't for you , I wouldn't have a clue of how to make a fabric rose Thank you , continue making roses , or flowers . You're doing an Amazing Work , Be Blessed 🌹🙏🏼🌹

Oh my, I’ve been doing this all wrong. I’ve watched so many rolled rose videos and this is the first one that really teaches the correct way to make them. I will be dragging out the fabrics and practicing this technique. I love them all!! Thanks for teaching the right way to make them.
Hi, Glad you are inspired. I saw your shout out and plan to return it next time I am on. Currently stressful times plus covid so I am doing the minimum.
No worries at all. I hope your stress gets better soon. I really enjoy your videos and the calm way that you explain your projects. Will keep you in my prayers.

Liz!!!!! I FINALLY learned to roll my roses with points!!
I've watched and watched videos over and over, including yours, so many times. I can do pretty rosettes, but couldn't get the points, or make them flatter. Today I told myself to watch YOUR video...you explain everything so well, I just knew today is the day it'll finally click for me. It did!!!! You did it for me! I'm SO excited that I finally got it! I love all your videos. You make it fun, and explain and show how to make things clearly, without making it so complicated. Thank you for ALL you do! Love you,! Nancy
That is so exciting. I am glad you didn't give up. 😃🙃

Instead of the little rose in the center, i would've loved to see what they look like with more cones in the center. I'll have to remember to try this.

Lovely
Thank you
Beautiful ❤️ New subscriber :) going to try this !
I hope you are successful. It does take practice.
😆 I could do it only holding with my right hand and folding with left. Same result 😊
Your video was extremely helpful. Loved learning from you.
Thank you
Hi Liz, TFS💕
Hi, you make such beautiful flowers yourself.
🙏
❤
Nice instructions! TFS! This is another good way for me to use my glue gun. I would have probably used some type of quick-tack fabric glue for this, but I want to use my glue gun more. Does the glue permanently hold the flowers? I've found that sometimes some things pop apart when adhered with a glue gun.
I use high temp glue with high temp gun for craft projects. If you plan to place on clothing that will be laundered use fabric tac or sew.
thanks so much for explaining this. I can understand it better. hugs,Shirley Harrington
Your welcome, I hope you are inspired to make lots of roses.
Super madam
Could I use old T-shirts for the fabric or would the stretch in the fabric not work so well? Great video I love the detail you shared
Yes you can. Depending on the thickness double it up.
First time Viewer here. You made a really good tutorial. I just started making shabby chic flowers from material and I thought that learning how to make these roses would be a real plus. I’m going to give this a shot -thank you so much for this video.
You are welcome. Tjis tutorial is made for beginners. Happy Crafting 😊
Thank you so much this is absolutely perfect I had extra straps Fabric and then I did not know what to do with it since trips from flipping this is perfect thank you I'll just put them on scrunchies and make like a little bouquets and stuff and possibly put him down my leggings around the top of them like a bill or like flowers bouquets going down the hill. Thank you so much or even my dog's collars thank you for on in the bobby pins I appreciate it so much if you could please do more flowers if you know any other different flowers have subscribed to your Channel thank you
Hi, I am glad you are inspired. Take a look at my Playlist I have lots of flower 🌼 videos.
This is beautiful and I think I can follow you I’m going to try it
I hope you are successful
I did try it and I’m loving making flowers thank you
So glad you are successful. Once I begin I get addicted.
I didn’t try it, I was hoping you would post a sample of you making a flower out of crushed velvet or netting...if you have time..thank you so much...you work is beautiful and inspiring!
I think I will do more in the new year.
Yes PLEASE do tutorials for ALL of them!!! WITH THE CHROMECAST OPTION IN THE CORNER PRETTY PLEASE???? LOLOL THANK YOU!
I am just glad it is not my face on the big screen. Just my uncared for hands. Yes, all the steps I take should make it ready.
All the flowers please
Thank you so much for this tutorial. It is the best I have seen to make these flowers.
Then it was made just for you. I learned fr ok m RUclips and it was difficult to learn. I tried to answer the questions I had when I learned.
Hi Liz, excellent tutorial! I've already made some flowers using your steps. What is the best way to attach these flowers to a dress? I'm making my wedding dress and wondering how to best attach to satin material. Thank you ! :)
Attaching them by sewing on would be best. Thread can be wrapped around the entire flower like a button. If it is still loose a bit of fabric tak or a few other stitches
Oh, it is the Roses. You can sew a piece of felt to the dress then fabric tac the rose to the felt. Or fabric tak or sew rose to felt leaving room to sew felt onto dress.
Great idea!! Thank you! They are coming out beautifully!!! :)
Love the Rose's. Please show them with ribbon
🌷🌷🌷 😍 🌷🌷🌷
😊😃
Thank you for the explanation..so clearly..now i know which part i did it wrong cos my flower not flat....
Sory..for my bad english..i'm from indonesia..
No problem. Glad you understand me. Happy crafting. 🤗
Hi. Could I ask you what kind of glue gun you are using. It seems to work quite well without dripping or burning you. I can’t seem to find a decent one. Ty

Liz I've always cast your tutorials to my TV through my chromecast. I can see a lot better on my TV because if the bigger screen, and I can also hear so much better because I can turn it up as high as my tv volume goes. On this video there is no chromecast icon in the upper right corner of the video and I can hardly hear you with my phone volume turned all the way up. I'm sure it's just a setting or option on you tube to include the chromecasting option on the video. I've asked other ladies that posted tutorials without the chromecast icon but they had no idea what I was talking sbout. They had never heard of chrimecasting. All of your other videos had the icon.
This issue may be my phone. It is getting older and this time around my first try was mute. I found that as I was editing in some places it seemed like I was screaming so I adjusted that part of the video. I will double check everything before my next diy. I also always save my videos in youtube movie mode before I upload. I wonder if I loded the wrong version?. I was planning to get a new phone after my move I may have to do it sooner. I have the Samsung note 4 and there is a note 8 now I think. Time to upgrade.
