Nice instructions! TFS! This is another good way for me to use my glue gun. I would have probably used some type of quick-tack fabric glue for this, but I want to use my glue gun more. Does the glue permanently hold the flowers? I've found that sometimes some things pop apart when adhered with a glue gun.

Hi Liz, excellent tutorial! I've already made some flowers using your steps. What is the best way to attach these flowers to a dress? I'm making my wedding dress and wondering how to best attach to satin material. Thank you ! :)

Attaching them by sewing on would be best. Thread can be wrapped around the entire flower like a button. If it is still loose a bit of fabric tak or a few other stitches

Oh, it is the Roses. You can sew a piece of felt to the dress then fabric tac the rose to the felt. Or fabric tak or sew rose to felt leaving room to sew felt onto dress.

Hi. Could I ask you what kind of glue gun you are using. It seems to work quite well without dripping or burning you. I can’t seem to find a decent one. Ty

Liz I've always cast your tutorials to my TV through my chromecast. I can see a lot better on my TV because if the bigger screen, and I can also hear so much better because I can turn it up as high as my tv volume goes. On this video there is no chromecast icon in the upper right corner of the video and I can hardly hear you with my phone volume turned all the way up. I'm sure it's just a setting or option on you tube to include the chromecasting option on the video. I've asked other ladies that posted tutorials without the chromecast icon but they had no idea what I was talking sbout. They had never heard of chrimecasting. All of your other videos had the icon.

This issue may be my phone. It is getting older and this time around my first try was mute. I found that as I was editing in some places it seemed like I was screaming so I adjusted that part of the video. I will double check everything before my next diy. I also always save my videos in youtube movie mode before I upload. I wonder if I loded the wrong version?. I was planning to get a new phone after my move I may have to do it sooner. I have the Samsung note 4 and there is a note 8 now I think. Time to upgrade.
