Every one loves an underdog story and our friend Sean Smith will certainly be an underdog as he takes to the line on board his newly renovated 1991 Suzuki RM125, lets see if Sean and his vintage two stroke can do the business. Enjoy guys!

you are spot on correct. Probably less than 1% of riders/racers are capable of riding motocross bikes to their fullest potential even bikes 40 years old

he did really well on a tough track, it looked horrible to ride, it just shows there ain't much difference between new and old, plus he can ride well, love the vid max.
Thanks for watching David and taking the time to comment :-) There was a big storm the day before which make the track very deep and tricky, we were lucky to go racing really it was almost underwater just a few hours before this!
You're right though, in the right hands there's truly not much difference between old and new

I really like how you keep bringing up these old bikes and making them look fun again that's cool dude I have some old bikes myself I have a 97 KX 125 and it's still so much fun to ride
My son's first 2 bikes were a crf110f and a crf125f. I bought hima kx112 for his birthday and he is now addicted to 2smokers!
Finally a video i actually enjoyed. This video really showed exactly as stated you dint need a brand new bike, but i think more than the other videos ive watched the old mans still got fight in em.
Not only did it sing so well you could listen to it all day, she looks as good. Great ride, great vid 👍

JUST WATCHED THIS AGAIN AND WHAT CAN I SAY THANKYOU 60YEARS OLD BEEN RIDING 56YEARS STILL MIXIN GAS AND TRYING TO KICK SOME ASS TRIED A COUPLE OF 4 STROKES YEAR'S AGO BUT TO EXPENSIVE TO KEEP RUNNING SO 2STROKE'S FOR LIFE CAN'T BEAT THE SOUND AND SMELL AND THE SIMPLICITY THAT YOU CAN DO ALL YOUR SELF SELF FOR A FEW HUNDRED QUID RATHER THAN SENDING YOUR ENGINE OUT WAITING 2 OR 3WEEKS AND 3 GRAND LIGHTER.

I grew up on 2 strokes, in late 70's had an XR 75 4 stroke Honda. That was the last 4 stroke I've ridden. To be honest I cannot get myself to ride anything but 2 strokes it's in my blood!! Saving up now for a YZ 250 2 stroke one of the only companies making them

In the 80's there never had been bikes like them back then. A 1978 and the 1980 bikes are whole new bikes because of the suspension and brakes.

1991 was a good year for motocross, also same year I was born! Id love a 500 2 stroke from that year.

Go for a Kawi. While the CR was just as good as ever, it has abysmal suspension compated to the Green Machine that year. Allthough that is my personal favorite graphics package from Team Honda.

All 3 of my racing bikes are 2 strokes and 1 street bike that is 4 stroke . That's how real Men ride !

Doesn’t look like a 91, I owned one. They had Showa suspension, different fork guards, the stickers were different and they had a camp yellow/tan seat and yellow frame. This is a 1990 model.
To all the people who were surprised that the old RM took 3rd against the newer bikes, I shall quote the great Nate Díaz… “I ain’t surprised MFR’s!” Hahshahaha I never had a doubt!!!!!
He should get a 144 kit in that RM .

you need a young fast rider, no an old fart, old bike young fast gun , not a slow old fart that cant keep it wide open, he even missed the start, slow to dump the clutch, WHERES HIS WALKING FRAME, you need fast reaction times, not a slow old man, hes even taking the slow wrong lines, need a young fast gun,
