Stoked to see this saw come to market. I pitched this idea to Steve Corber (of Evolution Tools) in July of 2019. We had a good back 'n forth email dialog, but at the time he didn't see it happening. Fast forward a few years and here it is--wonderful! Now I just need to pony up and buy the saw that I asked for--ha!
I bought a GMC fiber blade chop saw and the blade would not cut straight and I always had to square up the cutting I saw a evolution ad and got it what a big difference in the cuts no more of having to true up the cuts so this is one I'll be looking at.
The S355 chop saw is €360 but this mitre saw version is over €1000. It's the same machine with a different base. The price is insane. Over €600 additional cost for a mitre base!
stop being a eurooean and be an american and it suddenly gets a lot cheaper, don't you need a license to operate such dangerous tools as well? perhaps euros should get out of the fabrication game and just stick to being good little consumers

Can I use it to cut wood too or just metal?
Yep. Will cut better with a multi material blade though.
