The ones with the glue are beautiful but messy, and I'm oh so clumsy, so I wanted to give the magnetic ones a try. I got the ones I chose in the mail, and I could not for the life of me get them on correctly lol. I'm an intelligent woman but after several attempts was feeling pretty discouraged. So off to RUclips I went for help lol. I am SO thankful I came across this video! I just want to give you the biggest THANK YOU ever for making this vid I have bought so many magnetic lashes in every type you can think of cause I’ve never been able to wear strip lashes even if& when I’m lucky Enuf to get them on something always is wrong with how they feel and yes I’ve done extensions which I love but cuz I’ve always had thick prominent lashes so extensions are very heavy& always cost me more cuz the tech always ends up going over on time a minimum of 2 hours and had a yoda yada so here I am with a all kinds of lashes sand I cannot put them on wellllll then I see this new device thingy that will do exactly what I need and I just found your video !!! & you sound so pleasant with an easy going voice and you speak perfect English so I just have to you have made my entire year!!! I am with you - I've had the Ardel lashes forever. I've tried a million times to get them on. I do like the device/ergonomic shaped applicator you used with the Amazon lashes. You make it look very easy. I think I'll try the 'Amazon' lashes! You make the lashes look gorgeous!

Ahh wonderful eyeball poking trick. Thats the exact type of thing i manage to do with everything!! Also, educating us on wide and closed eye change... Took anatomy classes before and never thought about that. Plus id never know how to get the freaking things off. Im super glad i watched before getting ready for the wedding Im gonna wear them too. I can so see myself huffing and sweating in my nice dress with one smudged up, crappy eye. Lol

I have never liked fake lashes, i think nearly everyone i see with them looks terrible, but i am looking into these type now as i have blepharitus and i cant wear any glue or mascara and i adore glaming up as i love the vintage look. i wonder if they will work.
Best video I’ve seen for magnetic eyelashes. But I think I will try the clear magnetic liner with eye lashes. I’m very clumsy with those applicators, once I scratched my eye trying to put on the Ardell lashes with the same cheap plastic pink applicator. And the other applicator probably better but I won’t chance it. Not again. 😢🙏🏼
This set happened to fit but the 2nd set I got was too long and I'm planning to snip it. I should do a video on that, maybe in the next couple of months I'll squeeze it in.
Lol I have owned a differently packaged set of lashes that is exactly like this for almost 2 years and they have been sitting in my drawer for about as long. I couldn’t for the life of me cry them on. It’s was beginning to feel kind of like a form of torture. I’m eager to try again now. I do wonder if mascara might help too.
Oh no! I hope these tips help. Mascara could help with grip but i don't use mascara cos it'll make the lashes dirty. I have worn these lashes for high impact sport and they've never come off. I watched someone wear them.on a roller coaster ride too, no issues. Good luck💕💕
I love your video. It's so helpful and informative. I just have one small issue. I can't seem to get them close enough to my lash line. I tried finding the sweet spot, and for some reason they still keep clicking not on my lash line and a little further away from it. I do the quick clicking and all. I have the same applicator you do, but they do seem to just go on straight and not really curve much. Any tricks?
Hi Celeste, I have found that it also helps to get the lashes as close the edge of the applicator as possible (like as close to the lash line edge as possible, maybe even overhang it just a bit). I do also apply gentle pressure against the lid, just like if I was using an eyelash curler and was trying to get as close to the lash line as possible. And the other thing I also do sometimes, once they are on, is to gently push the lashes towards the lash line. I would gently pinch them between my thumb and index finger and wiggle the lashes in. After about 10-20 "wiggles", they get close enough. Hope these work for you 🤞

I have really long bottom lashes so everytime I try to apply them the bottom lashes keep getting stuck. Does this mean I can’t use this product and i have to stick with glue?
Hi Emily! I do not think glue would work anyway on these as the magnets will likely get in the way💕💕 And I can’t be sure if the false lashes will get caught on your lower lash during application 😅

Hi bobabih! I don't clean them 😅 I found them to be quite fragile and cleaning them damages them anyway. So when I find that they're dirty enough, I buy a new set. I guess you can try just gently patting them with facial cotton wool and eye make up remover, but that could potentially deform them. Please share if you find a way. I'll experiment too I think xx.
How do you do this? I keep pinching my lower lashes into it, are they just too long?? I also keep scraping my cheekbones with the bottom as I go to close it. I've tried so many times 😭 any tips?
I purchased the magnetic lash tool from Amazon but I can only partially get on the lashes after a few tries, Any suggestions on what I might be doing wrong?
Really depends. If there is a magnet in the way, it may be problematic. Or if you cut it, then you may be missing a magnet and the lash is not gonna stick. These lashes aren’t perfect and it is a trial and error process. Thanks for watching

@@yukitay2176 I have only applied these to myself, so I am unsure about different eyes and eyelashes. I would recommend mascara, it will make the lashes really messy😅 And no you don’t need magnetic eyeliners for this

You may need to get this applicator and the ardell lashes separately?

Best video I’ve seen for magnetic eyelashes. But I think I will try the clear magnetic liner with eye lashes. I’m very clumsy with those applicators, once I scratched my eye trying to put on the Ardell lashes with the same cheap plastic pink applicator. And the other applicator probably better but I won’t chance it. Not again. 😢🙏🏼

This set happened to fit but the 2nd set I got was too long and I'm planning to snip it. I should do a video on that, maybe in the next couple of months I'll squeeze it in.

Lol I have owned a differently packaged set of lashes that is exactly like this for almost 2 years and they have been sitting in my drawer for about as long. I couldn’t for the life of me cry them on. It’s was beginning to feel kind of like a form of torture. I’m eager to try again now. I do wonder if mascara might help too.
Oh no! I hope these tips help. Mascara could help with grip but i don't use mascara cos it'll make the lashes dirty. I have worn these lashes for high impact sport and they've never come off. I watched someone wear them.on a roller coaster ride too, no issues. Good luck💕💕

I love your video. It's so helpful and informative. I just have one small issue. I can't seem to get them close enough to my lash line. I tried finding the sweet spot, and for some reason they still keep clicking not on my lash line and a little further away from it. I do the quick clicking and all. I have the same applicator you do, but they do seem to just go on straight and not really curve much. Any tricks?
Hi Celeste, I have found that it also helps to get the lashes as close the edge of the applicator as possible (like as close to the lash line edge as possible, maybe even overhang it just a bit). I do also apply gentle pressure against the lid, just like if I was using an eyelash curler and was trying to get as close to the lash line as possible. And the other thing I also do sometimes, once they are on, is to gently push the lashes towards the lash line. I would gently pinch them between my thumb and index finger and wiggle the lashes in. After about 10-20 "wiggles", they get close enough. Hope these work for you 🤞

I have really long bottom lashes so everytime I try to apply them the bottom lashes keep getting stuck. Does this mean I can’t use this product and i have to stick with glue?
Hi Emily! I do not think glue would work anyway on these as the magnets will likely get in the way💕💕
And I can’t be sure if the false lashes will get caught on your lower lash during application 😅

How do you clean the lashes after each use if you use eyeliner? Or do you even need to clean them if you don’t use any eye makeup?
Hi bobabih! I don't clean them 😅 I found them to be quite fragile and cleaning them damages them anyway. So when I find that they're dirty enough, I buy a new set. I guess you can try just gently patting them with facial cotton wool and eye make up remover, but that could potentially deform them. Please share if you find a way. I'll experiment too I think xx.
How do you do this? I keep pinching my lower lashes into it, are they just too long?? I also keep scraping my cheekbones with the bottom as I go to close it. I've tried so many times 😭 any tips?
You sound like you have Beautiful high cheek bones. Perhaps open your eyelids a bit wider?

Do I have to cut the magnetic lash to fit my eyeshape?
Really depends. If there is a magnet in the way, it may be problematic. Or if you cut it, then you may be missing a magnet and the lash is not gonna stick. These lashes aren’t perfect and it is a trial and error process. Thanks for watching

@@yukitay2176 I have only applied these to myself, so I am unsure about different eyes and eyelashes. I would recommend mascara, it will make the lashes really messy😅
And no you don’t need magnetic eyeliners for this

Alternatively there are the ardell accent ones that are about half the length, but their applicator is not as user-friendly. You may need to get this applicator and the ardell lashes separately?
