Melanie istg every time happily plays at the end of the video my heart just skips a beat- it’s like literally someone it’s calling my attention because I’ve been obsessed with 1d for 10 years LOL just a random comment but I loved your haul!
I loved this video! The tshirt you showed at 6:43 I got so excited because the Great Barrier Reef is in Australia where I live, it's a beautiful part of Australia! :))
hi melanie, are you aware of fast fashion and its impact on the environment? i know you do a lot of clothing hauls so I'm wondering if you are away about fast fashion brands vs ethical brands and what you do in general to be environmentally friendly. you have a large platform and a great influence on your subscribers. i recommend you do some research on what goes on behind the scenes with the brands you shop from!
Everything you own and consume is unethical. Clothing you wear, food you eat, the gas you get, the electronics you use and more. Coporations are the ones to blame for environmental issues, but somehow have been able to shift the blame onto consumers. They'll make product regardless of the consumers opinions or demand for ethical practices. All purchases are unethical due to capitalism. We all know what goes on behind the scenes and because of the world we live in that's just how brands work.
@@Aj-sn1dp you guys seriously aren’t aware that the only reason the fast fashion industry thrives is because of the rich ‘poor’ girls spending thousands on fast fashion. cut the bs.
@@nai1729 Are you not aware that brands have been exploiting their workers since the beginning of industrialization? That’s literally the foundation of capitalism. You act like this concept of fast fashion is new. Luxury brands with hand crafted products also rely on rich people and they still exploit their workers. It’s got less to do with consumers and more to do with the way the system functions
@@kristingreenfield9012 If making small changes did anything then exploitation wouldn’t exist. That’s not how business works realistically. As long as there’s a consumer and a capitalist society, exploitation is present

they also sold necklaces with swastikas on them plus they steal designs from smaller brands/designers. but mainly it’s their massive negative environmental impact

@@Aj-sn1dp that doesn’t mean we can’t all make small changes. i don’t find the nihilistic outlook to be very effective at driving change either.
