- An entire staff at a Vacaville bagel shop quit their jobs in protest, and now the video they posted to TikTok showing their final day is going viral with six million views.
If your entire staff quit on you! Your the problem! People don’t leave good bosses. an entire staff ! come on people!
They'll just bring in employees from other stores. The customers would have to join the boycott for it to really work.
Boss moves by these employees! Good for you all standing together and making a huge statement!!
If a workplace is toxic... I can see that happening. One of my adult kids works in a place that was very toxic. Many of them were going to up and quit. Some actually did... just went to another store or a new job. Told my child to take it up with corporate... everyone needs to file a report... it won't happen over night. Well, I really don't know if they did or not, but I do know they have a new DM and they say it is fun to go to work. There is organization, team work, work flow is smooth (bumps every now and then that gets smoothed out)... but overall... no more toxic environment. Sometimes you have to do things to bring attention to the big boys. Those that quit this business will find work elsewhere. It may not have been the actual business itself but the management within that store (higher than the manager that was fired). Unless people bring it to the attention of higher ups, they usually don't know what really goes on in a store. I can only say that I am SO VERY HAPPY I am FULLY RETIRED!
they should do that at walmarts
Not all the employees at Wally World are teenagers in some grassroots “movement”
Classic, "who's coming with me". Wish I could have been there!
Jan... thank you, Jan!
Amazon employees need to take note here.
People do not quit jobs, they quit people. I am from Vacaville. I have taught in Vacaville schools. I am so proud of these young people.
Peace.
Good for them! I’ll take my business elsewhere in support of the former employees.
"every one of you can be replaced!"
"aight bet"
I worked at a grocery store where one of the opening managers nearly always said something along "if there's budget cuts or economy issues your jobs will be the first to go, so do a good job and show why your worth keeping"
He was a bit more tactful than that but that's what I got from it.
I want some bagels now.
Had to hit mute when that atrocious song came up.
I've had bad jobs and I've had amazing jobs but thankfully I've never been in a job where the building and its owners need to be set ablaze.
So what was going on that was toxic?
The person that said, "kids these days" smh what an old sheep🤦♂️🤣
Sarcasm maybe? 😉
You get these so-called managers who want to threaten and push people around. I don't blame them. I have quit a couple part time / low wage jobs in years past for that type of crap. "You're not done with your shift, you cannot leave!". See ya 😂
Quiting for the clout seems to be the new wave hey let's quit and go viral everybody's doing it!
Yeah its for clout and not the actual reason they stated. Lmao dipass.
So many companies need employees, especially in the service industry, so maybe not be a toxic org? Don’t know the actual story, but this is bad and doesn’t look good for the company.
Wow good luck getting more employees at that location! I would not eat there if all the employees quit. 😅
Class action lawsuit! Oy vey
🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯
100% replaceable. Good luck trying to get a similar store front job.
References aren't required for bakery positions only skill.
If it’s that easy to be replaced….it’s that easy to get another job. If no one values the human being….then all people are….are just numbers. Numbers easily replace numbers.
@@sez1742 I don't know, I think folks would applaud them for standing up to an unreasonable change in management and to have everyone do it, it must have been a bad situation or that person has treated with abuse.
I think if you watch abuse and do nothing you are also at fault.
According to your kind, its as easy as walking in and shaking hands. Pick a lane and stick with it, coward.
I bet the business has a hard time replacing all those min wage people with no real skills. Hahaha. Just kidding.
"When things go bad, what do you do?"
"I quit and post it on social media."
Okay, next candidate please.
Let me guess.. you support toxic work places and paying employees minimum wage.
What else were they supposed to do Karen? Complain to HR and wait for a response?
Okay, next suggestion please.
You're obviously useless and just want to complain about something instead of suggesting it be fixed.
"STRONG BOND"?? YOU MEAN THE BOND IN THAT YOU HAVE NO MORE MONEY COMING IN AND YOU WILL NEVER WORK WITH YOUR EX CO-WORKERS EVER AGAIN?? YOU BROKE UP YOUR WORK FAMILY. This looks really ignorant and stupid. Literally they're going to regret this decision and wish that they didn't do this when they start missing each other and wishing that they were still working together.
You know how many co-workers that I miss after 35 years of being in the workforce? Since high school, probably none.
@@trevorthetherapist4200 this is not about you and nobody asked your FKING opinion. For the most part I will say the same thing as well however these kids are on here saying how much they love each other and SHT and how close they are and how much of the family they are. Again I personally didn't ask for your opinion but just because you dont make friends and have people that don't like you don't mean other people don't have friends
@@trevorthetherapist4200 also you kind of proved my point that most people wouldn't do the same SHT to their jobs that these kids did
@@kevinlarey5073 Your comments are public? Is this how you make your friends?
@@trevorthetherapist4200 you make no sense stop talking to me
They literally have video proof of every idiot working there lol
It's funny how these employees think that they're hurting that business
