Boating Magazine Boating Magazine this info is so completely wrong lol. I have a 335 with 6.2L and can get, at best, 1.25mpg. Where on earth did you get these figures? 5.8mpg at 22mph? Furthermore, it holds 180 gallons of gas, so if the 5.8mpg were true, it would have a range of 939 miles with 10% reserve.
Nope. I know the owner of the largest Monterey dealer in the country. He said they couldn’t get them moving but thought Monterey should’ve given it another chance before they cut it. They also cut the 355 this year, which he supported.
Alejandro Alvarez Dropping the 355 makes sense to me. It literally has the same cabin as the 335. It has a slightly larger cockpit layout but most people prefer the 335 cockpit because it has a forward facing passenger seat instead of the lounger style on the 355. Only giving the 345 one model year does seem silly. As far as competing with the Sundancer 320, they’re different styles. I had a Monterey 295SY and just upgraded to a 335SY. I love the 320 but it was significantly more expensive specced out comparably to my 335. On top of that, my particular situation, the Monterey dealer was more negotiable than MarineMax. The 320 has a nicer cockpit, bow seating(so innovative) and a nicer head. My problem is the cabin is too tight. It’s basically the same as my 295SY. I couldn’t get my fiancé or friends to sleep on that boat. The V berth with the filler cushion isn’t comparable to the innerspring mattress on the 335. The mid berth was too claustrophobic compared to the convertible couch mid berth on the 335. We can have 6 people hang out comfortably in the cabin of the 335 where that isn’t possible on the 320. So it just depends on your needs really, although the 320 is more money.
@@joshmatthews3450 thanks!! We are not ready yet for an upgrade, but we love our Monterey M205.. we just got it in June, but I would def get a cabin within the next couple of years. Thank for again for the insight. You should join the monterey group on Facebook.facebook.com/groups/montereyboatowners/?ref=share

This boat is not listed under Monterey's website. Isn't produce anymore?
