About the Rothenburg Cannibal, the genital amputation was actually one of Bernd's final wish. @stephweasenforth7891 That's what interested me the most about this case. No wonder why I watched over 40 videos and read 100+ articles and 2 books about this case. After getting all of this information I can say one thing: The case is more of an assisted suicide than a murder, because of how Bernd wanted to be mutilated and killed, so he doesn't really count as a victim. The case is very controversial, so everyone has different opinions.

I once had a REALLY big fascination with the Donner Party and did a deep dive of research. Here’s a few facts!
- They ended up in their situation because their journey started a bit too late and at the pace they were going, it would be winter if they went on the designated road. The settler equivalent of a scammer told them of a “shortcut” they could take because the guy totally knew the place like the back of his hand and it was perfectly safe. It wasn’t safe.
- They stumbled upon a tribe of Native Americans, who were going to offer to help, but the entire trip mixed with the situation they were in caused them to retaliate and assume that they were there to attack them instead. Someone shot at them, which caused the Native Americans to *actually* attack.
- The main “code” was that the Party was only going to eat people who died naturally. However, there was one guy who killed and ate a child and the kid’s family found out. The guy insisted that he was already dying, but everyone knew it was a lie because the kid was as fine (as he could be at least). When they finally reached the destination, the family sued the guy and the court heard the case. During the trial, the guy cried about the struggles that he had endured and how he dealt with so much. The judge gave him enough money to only reimburse the court fees. As for the family… The judge ruled that the guy was going to pay a monumental amount of money to them.
Albert Fish has a great vocaloid song made about him by Steampianist called “Secrets of Wysteria”. I wouldn’t recommend listening to it backwards though; it’s disturbing as hell.

My maternal grandgrand mother and her family lived in Leningrad. People reserving to cannibalism just really shows how desperate the siege was. There are reports on him saying he asked his own children to inflict pain onto him and he also had a habit of apparently inserting cloth into his urethra and lighting it on fire. Theres a vocaloid song called Willows of Wysteria by Steampianist ft. Oliver (the vocaloid oliver) and there is quotes from his letters to the Budd family in reverse at the end of the song. his victim list is potentially a lot bigger then whats let on too btw, and a lot of his victims were boys iirc

Chase was highly mentally ill and believed his blood was poisoning him (or that it waas being poisoned) and so began injecting animal blood into his veins oof. he was admitted into a mental institutions after going septic but was LET OUT??? when he started to improve a little (while he was literally still biting live birds heads off BTW??) and his condition only got worse since he was no longer getting help and ended up starting to drink human blood. That baby that went missing he kept in the fridge and ate it over time. disgusting. the Gruesome podcast did a deep dive on it, you can find them on spotify
