Apple Cinnamon Baked Oatmeal
3 cups Old Fashioned Oats
1/2 cup White Sugar
1/2 cup Brown Sugar, packed
2 tsp. Baking Powder
2 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
1 tsp. Table Salt
1 cup Milk
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
2 tsp. Vanilla Extract
1/2 cup Salted Butter, melted and cooled
1 1/2 - 2 cups peeled and chopped apple chunks
Pecans for topping
Directions
1.Preheat the oven to 350F and line an 8X8 glass baking dish with parchment paper
2.In a medium bowl, combine the oats, sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Mix well.
3.Add in the milk, eggs, and vanilla extract. Whisk until well combined.
4.Whisk in the melted butter.
5.Fold in the chopped and peeled apple.
6.Pour the oatmeal mixture into the prepared baking dish, top with pecans if desired and bake in the oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the center is set.

So pleased you're back. Many congratulations to you and your husband on the birth of your little girl. I hope she'll treasure the lovely quilt as a keepsake when she's older. When I was much younger and my oldest, a daughter was at the age of playing with dolls (she is 39 now) I made her a couple of quilts for her babies. I also enjoyed it so much that every little girl we knew got one for her babies too lol. I think your quilt looks precious.

Aw, your fourth quilt! That's wonderful. I suggest folding the fabric in half by the width of fabric before cutting the squares, so it saves some time, for the future. You did a great job on this quilt and it is beautiful! I love that you hand sewed the quilted portion too. That is a lot of work. I've been making quilts for a decade now and sell them too. Great job on the binding by the way. Love it.

Oatmeal looks delicious. Fall is definitely here in Northern Michigan. Already had 2 frost. I've never made a quilt but maybe I will someday.

Hello, thank you!! 😊 i dont use presets but i do edit them in the same way every time, i use a golden brown color in the shadows and then depending on the photo i raise the contrast and exposure but the main thing is the color in the shadows

No problem! And thank you! Well i like to try all sorts of art and craft things and i had made crochet blankets before so I thought it would be fun to make a quilt so i found a pattern on pinterest i think and followed that. I filmed that 2 years ago actually and have that video up its called welcoming autumn. And then anything I wasn't sure about I looked up on RUclips like how to hand quilt and stuff like that. Definitely just figured it out as I went but it's really fun! 😀
