You don't NEED to add pupils, its a choice.* I know this, its not my option to force upon someone that using pupils is necessary, this video is simply meant for those who want to put personality in their character, using different eye shapes and colours really brings out the persona, of course, mixing different eye colours and pupil colours can look good, but sometimes it doesn't stand out, looks kind of lazy. (adding on, if you have an eye colour similar to the pupil, for example like mine, its perfectly fine, because its looks plain and simple, yet stands out) *2.) I use (said topic) on my OC's, does that mean she hates me?* i do not hate any style you choose, I don't hate anything or anyone. *3.) The pupils thing is so true. It depends on the character what pupils you give them. But I have seen other people try to force pupils onto others characters and get really angry about it.
I mean even though I commented about the eye and hair color I still use a diff eye color as the hair color. It was just kind of confusing and that makes sense that using a diff eye color make it stand out, or outgoing.
Lol Random fact: Black eyes are really rare, rarer than blue, I used to think I hadblack eyes when I was a toddler xD and then my brain was better xD and I found out that I have really dark brown eyes and I can see my pupil 0>0 lol random fact is done.
Hani Rathod a lot of eye colors are rarer than blue. it’s a very common eye color right under brown, i think. also usually babies are born with blue/grey eyes and then your body starts to produce more melanin that adds more of a darker tone to the eyes. i was born with grey-ish purple eyes but now my eyes are brown. it’s your pigmentation basically. not being rude, just wanted to educate! black eyes are not actually possible. they are just really dark brown. i can lend some links with more information if you want!

A hoodie isn't something that a cofident oc really needs, there are a lot of other accsesories you can use and still awesome! Please don't only use black, grey and white when making hoodies, green, orange, blue and even yellow are great maches!

As an artist speaking for the Gacha Community (I'm also joining it on another channel.) I recommend that the community studies Colour Theory so that way the entire issue with colours in their designs are less of a problem. When I started drawing I didn't even know Colour Theory existed. Now I have improved and Colour Theory isn't just for artists!

I personally think that the hair could match with the eyes. Simplicity is something I look for in an OC. But that’s just my opinion. (No hate btw I know you’re just trying to help others in making their OCs.)
really I think it depends on the colors you are using. For example; if you want your Oc to be a little more realistic it COULD be brown and brown because a lot of people have brown hair and brown eyes, like me. Yes, it would make it a little more realistic and simple, but simplicity is always good. Although sometimes it doesn't look good like green for example.
I also feel like its important to mention that when you choose hair, actually be consistent with the bangs, rear hair, back hair. Etc. For example, you should pair curly bangs with curly hair. Its kinda weird to see wavy bangs with spiky hair at the back
For me I would just pick whatever I see and try to make it look nice then, i would search up japanese names and choose one then call it my OC. Mine always turned out kawaii and innocent.
Gacha logic is stupid. I get if you're trying to make a fictional character with it then maybe, but most of the time you're just making animals and humans, it doesn't matter for Brown hair cause you can have both but you aren't gonna have blonde hair and blonde eyes, or ginger hair and ginger eyes. Personally, I like to use pinterest and search for color pallets and outfits to spark some ideas in my head. It works a whole lot and I reccommend using it.
I recommend using black pupils with eye colors such as white or yellow because with yellow it would look like a banana and with white pupils and white as an eye color it,s makes your character look like a robot powered off even if your oc is not robot and the darkest part is your character looks like a ghost or is dead also a third thingy about it is the eyes looks like your oc is blind and that,s why.

I think the reason some gacha tubers use “vibrant colors” on their characters is because there wasn’t much color variety to start with (I think it would’ve been 100000x better if Luni just added a fucking color wheel) and were just trying to make their character unique/stand out.

As an artist speaking for the Gacha Community (I'm also joining it on another channel.) I recommend that the community studies Colour Theory so that way the entire issue with colours in their designs are less of a problem. When I started drawing I didn't even know Colour Theory existed. Now I have improved and Colour Theory isn't just for artists!

really I think it depends on the colors you are using. For example; if you want your Oc to be a little more realistic it COULD be brown and brown because a lot of people have brown hair and brown eyes, like me. Yes, it would make it a little more realistic and simple, but simplicity is always good. Although sometimes it doesn't look good like green for example.

I also feel like its important to mention that when you choose hair, actually be consistent with the bangs, rear hair, back hair. Etc.
For example, you should pair curly bangs with curly hair. Its kinda weird to see wavy bangs with spiky hair at the back

I think the reason some gacha tubers use “vibrant colors” on their characters is because there wasn’t much color variety to start with (I think it would’ve been 100000x better if Luni just added a fucking color wheel) and were just trying to make their character unique/stand out.
