I've been wearing Jones for a few years and wanted to do something a little longer..fuller. ordered the Perla in Beige Pastel Rooted. I'm getting a hip replacement this week and wanted to return to work with something new!

Anima! Love the length, style, cut and color on you. Too bad these run average/large. I, too, have liked Ellen Wille for the smaller cap. Thanks so much for giving us this valuable information as it helps take some of the guesswork out of our wig choices.

Oh, dear gracious, Taz, I'm in LOVE with both Anima and Perla. And, the sizing will work for my 22" noggin. I have two Est. Jone's and don't care for the bangs or top/sides nearly as much as these two. They look more natural to me. Now to choose a blonde closest to RW Shaded Biscuit or Shaded Sand. Decisions, decisions! Happy Day! 💗

Hi there! I was able to get a secure fit.. but I was on the edge. Ellen Wille sizing is very inconsistent. The Changes collection features an average size cap which is larger than they offer on their legacy styles. But then they come with some other collections that have HUGE caps.. I get having something for everyone, but wish we could nail it down to a particular collection so we knew what to expect.. Have a wonderful day! XOXO

Love Perla! I am happy to hear it was a bit large on you. I still think I need a large size cap. I have 2 RW wigs in the large cap and they are so comfortable. If you can think of a sister style for Perla from another designer/manufacturer, I would appreciate it. EW does not make large sized caps, that I can see… 😢. I’m petite, like you, and, have a wee head, about 21 and a quarter circumference. You said that Anima fits large, but, also you’d get it in more colours. My question is, having such a small head; what would you suggest to make the wig comfortable and secure. This would be my first wig, too! Thanking you kindly!

Anima reminds me, too, of EW's Night's big, more modern sister. (But what a ridiculous lace featured cap!) Changes collection all bigger. Wore them when I had a large circumference (around 50 or 60 lbs ago!) Liking Perla! Very 1970s "Police Woman" or later rocker chick hair!! (And I think Eclat's pronounced "ay" like clay and "KLA" like SPA). Thanks so much, sweetness!!

I love my Anima wig- but how do I keep it from getting clumpy, frizzy & knotted at the ends ? After wearing it a short time, I have to try to comb it out with a wide-toothed wig comb on the bottom back 2-3 inches. It gets pretty knotted & I feel like I'm breaking the ends a bit.

Love the Perla style and color, and they all look great on you! You are my “go to” wig expert! This is an off topic question, but I didn’t know if you look back at older review comments. I have a very petite head size and I love the Dalgona 16. You did a review on the hand tied version, does it have enough hair in back and can you get enough volume with hand tied? I want it to look the most natural that it can. I like the champagne with apple pie color (from what I can tell on screen) bcuz it has a lighter root color. Does it have any light brown color mixed with the blonde throughout the style or just at the root? It’s a beautiful style and you’ve said it’s a favorite of yours, so I am thinking that will be my first full wig. I’ve only worn toppers so far. Thank you Taz for your input! 🌺
The Dalgona Handtied is a nice density.. ample for sure! And my particular piece in CWAP doesn't display any brown except for a light warm brown root.. XOXO
What brand would you recommend for low density wigs with petite caps? I have the jon renau julianne lite and I feel like there's a lot of extra room in the back.
The Anima wig here has so much volume and looks so good. On all the other wig review channels, it looks nothing like this one. They all look limp and no volume. I don't understand why yours always looks so different than all the others.
All wigs and colors look great on you. Lucky you. I bought Caliente because of a review by you. Mine is ok but needs a little work. It’s straighter than one you have and I don’t want to mess with it. I wish it were wavier.

I personally did not care for any of these wigs. Also, I thought the rooting was drastic and harsh except on the Perla wig. I just tried an Ellen Wille wig for the first time, the Cara 100 Deluxe. It had really serious quality issues. Short Hairs were sticking out straight all over the crown and the crown was extremely thin. My husband noticed the issues with this wig right away and he rarely comments on the wigs I wear; except for the ones that give me the 'helmet head' look. I know wig companies are trying to go to more youthful looking wigs; but, I think they often have a wiggy, cheap look to them.
I am sad to see that the petite average is not true anymore I am a petite and i can work a little the petite average Everyone you reviewed is large that was a bummer But the listing calls for petite average Hmmmmmm

I purchased an Envy Petite wig and wow !!! so much stretch that will accommodate an average size easy . I donated to a local charity. I am wondering why the manufactures are so inconsistent ??? Any ideas?? I love to see less hair more realistic more refined colors especially in blondes and better fitting HAHA you thing I am asking for too much ? The industry needs to leave the old ways and catch up with the times.
I wish the wig manufacturers would stop with the super dark roots on light blonde wigs. It looks fake to me. I'm a natural light blonde and my roots are very light brown to a medium blonde. THAT is what looks natural! They sure are not dark brown or black like most rooted light blonde wigs I see. I realize some women who have dark hair like the dark roots when they try and pass themselves off as blonde, but how about some lighter choices on the root for women who are truly blonde.

I think it IS similar to Melted Marshmallow. Beige Pastel Shaded is ligher and brighter compared to Bahama Beige XOXO

Love the Perla style and color, and they all look great on you! You are my “go to” wig expert! This is an off topic question, but I didn’t know if you look back at older review comments. I have a very petite head size and I love the Dalgona 16. You did a review on the hand tied version, does it have enough hair in back and can you get enough volume with hand tied? I want it to look the most natural that it can. I like the champagne with apple pie color (from what I can tell on screen) bcuz it has a lighter root color. Does it have any light brown color mixed with the blonde throughout the style or just at the root? It’s a beautiful style and you’ve said it’s a favorite of yours, so I am thinking that will be my first full wig. I’ve only worn toppers so far. Thank you Taz for your input! 🌺
The Dalgona Handtied is a nice density.. ample for sure! And my particular piece in CWAP doesn't display any brown except for a light warm brown root.. XOXO

The Anima wig here has so much volume and looks so good. On all the other wig review channels, it looks nothing like this one. They all look limp and no volume. I don't understand why yours always looks so different than all the others.
Because the other wig reviewers are “press’em downers” and Taz is a “fluff’er upper”! 😬💃🏼
I pick and fluff with my fingers.. set the fibers free to move!
All wigs and colors look great on you. Lucky you. I bought Caliente because of a review by you. Mine is ok but needs a little work. It’s straighter than one you have and I don’t want to mess with it. I wish it were wavier.

I personally did not care for any of these wigs. Also, I thought the rooting was drastic and harsh except on the Perla wig. I just tried an Ellen Wille wig for the first time, the Cara 100 Deluxe. It had really serious quality issues. Short Hairs were sticking out straight all over the crown and the crown was extremely thin. My husband noticed the issues with this wig right away and he rarely comments on the wigs I wear; except for the ones that give me the 'helmet head' look. I know wig companies are trying to go to more youthful looking wigs; but, I think they often have a wiggy, cheap look to them.
If you think you have a defective wig, you might want to contact the retailer for a return/exchange XOXO

I purchased an Envy Petite wig and wow !!! so much stretch that will accommodate an average size easy . I donated to a local charity. I am wondering why the manufactures are so inconsistent ??? Any ideas?? I love to see less hair more realistic more refined colors especially in blondes and better fitting HAHA you thing I am asking for too much ? The industry needs to leave the old ways and catch up with the times.

I wish the wig manufacturers would stop with the super dark roots on light blonde wigs. It looks fake to me. I'm a natural light blonde and my roots are very light brown to a medium blonde. THAT is what looks natural! They sure are not dark brown or black like most rooted light blonde wigs I see. I realize some women who have dark hair like the dark roots when they try and pass themselves off as blonde, but how about some lighter choices on the root for women who are truly blonde.
