I don't think it was able not having the guts,I think it was that she always blamed herself for things she couldn't fix or people she couldn't save. She blamed herself for Lena's choices for quite a while. But once she accepted that she isn't responsible for Lena choosing to work with Lex, the ball was in Lena's court to fix things and that means Lena had to know get own actions were going to be front and center in Kara's mind

I think we liked Lena so much because all she needed was Kara. She was able to push Supergirl out of her life because she had Kara and that was enough for her. Lena was the only character who Kara actually wanted to be just Kara around she liked how Lena saw her and was afraid of Lena never seeing her true self again if she knew that Kara was also Supergirl
Kara y Lena son una gran pareja, ellas dos deberían estar juntas, ellas dos son perfectas la una para la otra , ellas deberían darse la oportunidad de ser felices juntas, también deberían vivir juntas, y también te establecerse como una verdadera pareja.
Lena never fully abandoned Kara, she wanted to, but couldn't. The moment she realized Lex was working against Kara she ran to her apartment, threw herself at Kara's mercy, and begged to help her. Did she do all of this for the greater good? No. She did it because in that moment Kara's safety mattered more to her than anger, revenge, or ego. The show made it clear that every time Kara was in danger Lena was willing to put everything aside to protect her. When push came to shove she cried as she chose not to send the email to Andrea that would have exposed Kara, this kept Kara safe. She had the chance to escape with Myriad while Kara was fighting in the fortress, she risked her own goals to help protect Kara, once shaikh choosing Kara's safety over her own. She had a panic attack when the Kryptonite cannons almost shot Kara, once again Kara's safety came first. She cried and almost broke when she saw the pain she caused by using Kryptonite on Kara in the fortress. It's clear, Lena would never abandon Kara, she was literally incapable of it.

The fact that you describe them as "good good friends" may be why some see them as "more than friends".the creator of the video/edit, was saying that you are entitled to your opinion(s), and they are also entitled to theirs. Simultaneously, while enjoying the same content together. We are all aware that in the show, the script says they are just "friends". But the cinematography,acting, plot, and musical score says otherwise. It's okay if you don't see it,it's perfectly fine, but that doesn't mean that other viewers don't see it or aren't allowed to. They obviously love each other. Whether you see it as romantic or platonic is just based on your experience in life and how you perceive the world.
