Hi ebm I made mistake when converting my birthday from Ethiopian calendar to Gregorian calendar. My real date is January 14/ 1996 but I entered January 16/1996. If I entered wrong date of birth different from that on my birth certificate (passport), during my dv lottery application and the results come out when I have won the dv lottery. I filled Ds-260 with the correct one. Can miss match date of birth lead to my disqualification and denial to a USA visa?
My sister win the Dv lottery this year 2024. She is the only one who got selected in the whole family but there was an issue just last week when the results come out she found out she did completely forget the date of birth excluding the year because someone else fill her on her behalf and both didn't think much about the opportunity because it was their first time applying. any idea how to solve it? It will not disqualify...those professional titles are not names just titles. In the DV form they want your name, and not your professional title
