@philclarke3203 Yeah, good point, Phil Clarke .. hahaha.. still not lovin sheds lol .. the Climate Hero Sheds though, 66004, 66077 and 66085 .. the HV shed subject seems to have gone quiet .. there has been a number of sheds painted or re-geared but none as far as I'm aware have been HV-readied .. ? 🤔
How was it not two or three deep in people. I've only managed to film it once by planting myself at the corner nearest Bushey Arches. I'm local to a lot of areas on this layout , Northchurch, Watford and Bushey, but never really got to examine in detail because it's been heaving.
Making Tracks 4 should have been "do away with half of the overhead wires, do away with death trap trains. In with steam engines and small open wagons, plus Mk. 1 coaches galore. Let's replace the colour light signals with the much better semaphore signals, and mechanical signalboxes." No-one is a climate hero. We need carbon emissions, so steam-hauled passenger and goods trains are the norm. Steam engines are better than diesels any day. Apart from where railtour trains are concerned, of course. If diesels need to be used, they are Class 37 and 47 only in BR Blue or Railfreight Grey. Containers are for road use only. They're too heavy for stinky diesels to haul.
Another great layout. Covering some miles.👍
Yes it was 👍and alot of miles 😮
Hi mate it looks good thanks Regards Phil 👍👍
Hi Phil. Many thanks 👍
Great Phil this layout just gets better and better.
Thanks Rick
Great video @Phil Clarke .. its an incredible sight isnt it ? Some pretty cool electric trains there ...all of them Climate Heroes... 😂
Thanks Kat. Yes certainly a great sight 😀 and with all the full length trains. Even the diesel locos are powered by electric. 😂

I hope to see the layout in Chester again, quite a lot more added since it was there in summer and Pete has lots more plans to expand it more
Yes, Chester is a bit easier for you to get to. Blakemere is only about 7 miles from me. They are certainly always busy expanding/ altering it.
@@philclarke3203 That's good for you then I looked up where Blakemere is last year and found it is not really a place I could get to easily

I must have been lucky. Although I do find if you go later in the afternoon it's not usually as busy

You'll have to put your suggestions to Mr Waterman lol. I certainly don't agree with the containers on the road, too much traffic on the roads now
