- California Bluegrass Association (CBA) 47th Father’s Day Festival 2022 presents premiere “Kids on Bluegrass Alumni” show. Many of these kids grew-up in this Bluegrass community with lifelong friendships and it’s fitting to meet-up here annually and play together once more. So many wonderful memories have yet to be shelved. These are tunes we can all return to throughout our lives.

What a beautiful voice, and well sung AJ. And definitely the best trombone break I've heard for any Hazel Dickens song! 😊
Girls gotta voice.......
You young people done Hazel Dickens some so great I am sure she is clapping in Heaven...1st time I heard it with horn...we done ...
Sweet & beautiful playing that sweet juniper mando made by Dennis Anderson of Los Gatos Canyon, Ca,!!!
Hazel Dickens would be pleased with this performance of her song. Rest in Peace, Hazel. Makes me think of West " by God" Virgina and the mountains.
When A J sings those slow tunes,.... man, that Gal really has a set of pipes!
After surfing for A.J. on RUclips for over a week I've come to conclusion: the upsided conditions of the music world holds no justice, to think that the labels, Nashville, and the IBMA have deified Molly Tuttle while ignoring this angelic voiced person confirms that money-making control's every decision of who they think we should listen to. Believe or not, A.J. has the Ralph Stanley delima of choosing NOT to move to Nashville, stick squarely to her roots by following her heart and not her wallet.
I hear you and agree
Jesse Personeni man of man Bands!!!
Lord this was a real good find! The fiddle in the beginning was a great start. That young lady doing the singing was just pure smooth butter! Might fine I say. The horn was a bit of a surprise but Lordy it worked quite well. You kids keep this type of music going sos that it don't die.
Yeah. I just found her 2 weeks ago. And what a find, indeed.
