Just imagine, Notre Dame would have the perfect record if they never lost to Northern Illinois, that is the only true tarnish on their record. I know the CFP committee is overlooking it but if things were different and they had 2 losses including NIU... makes you wonder if they would still be in the playoff discussion but then again if these teams were to play best 2 out of 3, 4 out of 5, 9 out of 10, Notre Dame would come out on top.

according to some fans who were there it did eventually fill out a bit more but yeah, afternoon game in LA is always going to be sparsely attended
With that weather and that record, why would any USC fan go there instead of Disneyland or the beach?
