This school simply copied other institutions criteria instead of making their own unique one. They say 75% but would still get the highest level averages like what other institutions do. One way is They could have design it in a way to get students with just that average or something to give chance to other students and not purely on marks. They filter out so many students because they only base on marks and not extra curricular or anything else. It's a shame that almost all nursing programs in Ontario have no way to accommodate spots for dedicated hard working students.

How could you be a good nurse if you can't get at least a high 80 in a biology course? I understand what you mean by taking into account extracurricular but marks are very important. They indicate a student's academic commitment.

Panayiotis Michael I understand. I applied to Brock. I have a 4.0 but my overall average is 89%. Brock wanted 90% so they didn’t accept me into the nursing program and placed me into an alternative program.
