From what I can remember he has made gravity fields, stopped projectiles that are headed towards him, manipulated energy, made himself fast, and created wormholes to transport himself or space ships from one part of the universe to another.
After playing and loving Gravity Rush for so many years now, I always wondered why this superpower is so underused underrated. Like heck the possibilities are endless and quite impressive as it is op, without feeling cheap and overplayed like god powers and whatnot. Heck I can tell you how fun it must been to create and dismantle black holes whenever you want it to be.
If the world had a giant battle royale and you could pick any superpower( no omnipotence) I would def choose extreme gravity manipulation, like you can just crush thousands of people in an instance when they try to kill you lol

if i can control the gravity of every object with mass that means i can control particular objects meaning i can change the mass of that object to anything make it compact itself and reform its gravity that has the potential of something very powerfull or maybe i can only take the parts of an object and make their gravity different enough that makes them separate from the original object meaning i can make objects explode without an explosion radius theoretically i can destroy the entire universe because of the logic,if i can destroy anything with mass then i shouldnt have a limit to distance and amount meaning i can confine the universe in 1 milimeter technicaly destroying everything alive and existing but i can also combine atoms and neutrons(and everything else used to make matter) by changing their gravity so i could technicaly control and create new matter using existing matter so what im trying to say is this is very op imagine being able to create a black hole just because you decide to confine a few stars into one little ball and letting it lose so ye this is probably the most over powered power i have yet discovered other than omnipotence
In Scarlet Nexus (spoilers for anyone who hasn't played it), both main characters Yuito and Kasane have gravikinesis, which allowed them to time travel too. But gameplay wise, it's just regular psychokinesis, but they have certain attacks that seem more like gravity manipulation. Yuito can create a sort of psychokinetic shield that I think repels enemies while Kasane has an attack that pulls enemies towards you. Hopefully if they make a sequel to the game, their gravikinesis will seem more like gravity manipulation.

One thing I love about Gravity Manipulation, is that if increasing the gravity isn't working (Like they're super duper strong or can't be stopped) then you decrease the gravity, make them so light they literally fly away cause brute strength aint gonna do sh*t in the air

I invented a power of my own, it's called Vortex Cannon. I know that there is the real version that releases a ring of air but my version comes from the hands making a small charge up and then firing a sound blast several times stronger than the turbines of a fighter jet. I made a comment at the thread manipulation video with the powers I like the most. The blast still has the ring shape but it's faster and stronger and also a good transportation power.
I started looking at this because I was wondering what Gravity Manipulation as a type of magic would be like for a Planeswalker from Magic the Gathering. Like, general abilities these once god-like mages could use.
Glad I'm not the only one who has thought this out so much as well. Some limitations are lifted if they can create the gravitational force. With these powers, any powers that hold weight, mass or have physical representation are rendered useless. Gravity can trap light, bend time and space. The only powers that could counter gravity are conceptual powers like curses that have no physical value. If anyone comes across this, I fully welcome discussion. There are a few powers that can nullify or counter Gravity that arent overpowered…. Fire is one since it has no mass and isnt affected by forces that affect mass and weight. And numerous other powers that Ill be sharing in videos with you guys later 😎

Marvel MCU definitely missed out on characters with Gravity manipulation powers. Graviton and Singularity as villains and Gravity as a hero. In the comics Gravity was slated to become the next Captain Marvel but wound up becoming the Protector of the Universe instead.
Use Invisible Light to manipulate the gravity to push up, so the light can escape... Basically using the gravity as a puppet on a string, to get the gravity off. Gravitational manipulation. (Little bit of String Theory as well.)
What i think is, in interstellar, when a planet have more gravity than other, the time passad beetwen them are different. So if you have control of gravity, you can alter time, slowing down objects of acelerating them, or you can even make a person become old in seconds . is all of my head , but makes some sense i think.

Hope this helps if you still have some questions. He can make himself lighter, fly, accelerate to extreme speeds and increase his power with self gravity. It all depends on direction, force and timing. Naruto shippuden did this with the 5kage fight. Tsuchi and Rai: light Boulder to speed up and heavy Boulder to increase the mass. So that extreme speed at the moment of impact gets a boost from increased mass to increase force. Manipulate gravity in any of the 3 axes and you can fly. If you set gravity to go up at 1.1x normal gravity, you'll start to float up slowly.now set your gravity at 500x in any horizontal direction and now you are speed.

I know that I am late, but if one had the power of gravity could it be used to create the infinity distance barrier of Gojo? The one that makes things go slower and slower as it approaches its destination, which is gojo. Or able use it as insta kill move like what Makima does in chainsaw man? I haven't read the manga but her devil power does give me gravity related powers vibe.
Gravity really only attracts… so you would need to amplify it to its stronger reality warping forms in order to manipulate Space like Gojo does. Makima is more control and command powers than gravity in my opinion.
I wonder, does this have anything to do with Gojo's limitless ability or at least can a master gravity user mimic his abilities ? Seems like you could create a black hole silhuotte around you and slow anything to a hault that comes into contact with you. Though it seems to me the drawback of gravity manipulation is having pin point control. I think it would be hard to have it's effects not have any colateral. Like if you attract a cup towards you, wouldn't that mean that anything within the vicinity that has a similar mass or less will also be attracted ?

Okay so hear me out, im trying to make a book that i think would be better as a show imo. But the Mc has Gravitational Manipulation which i count as the basics and advanced level as gravity manipulation. In this story, there is a difference between zero gravity and anti gravity (even tho there really isnt). Anti gravity is a more controlled zero gravity... Think of horizons gravity lift from apex. Henceforth anti gravity is blue and the rest of his abilities have no color. I have a detailed plan on how he will slowly gain almost everything in this video. The only things i left out are black hole and wormhole generation. Bit my problem right now is that im trying to come up with a way the mc can use his power ei how his hands move when he for instance increases gravity. Im trying to figure out what his hands do when he does all his abilities, and i cant really think of anything. And i need some help.
What I would do... is look up different hand signs that exist throughout world culture you know like Sign Language or Naruto hand signs in Asian cultures.... maybe take inspirations from those but put your own little flare on it... if that makes sense..... or make up your own hand signs but explain it to be relatable to real world concepts, in my opinion those kinds of examples are remembered more fondly in fiction....

Gravity is attraction... so all you have to do is give your gravity powers enough force to condense water (Condensation) in the air and collect it that way... or if you wanna be an ass... you can “juice” people or objects the same way you would squeeze water out a sponge and crush water out of the target.... Actually through gravity, we can configure elements up to Iron. From what I know at least. Stars usually have iron cores too because gravity crushes the atoms together while they are "malleable " from the energy.

Theoretically yes, accelerate yourself to the tolerable max and bend space in front of you to shorten the distance. You won't go faster than light, but you can cover more distance in the same amount of time

Telekinesis is only similar because it allows you to defy gravity.... but to answer your question.... Id say Telekinesis is more about finesse and control and Gravity Manipulation is more about power and force.

I know that I am late, but if one had the power of gravity could it be used to create the infinity distance barrier of Gojo? The one that makes things go slower and slower as it approaches its destination, which is gojo. Or able use it as insta kill move like what Makima does in chainsaw man? I haven't read the manga but her devil power does give me gravity related powers vibe.
Gravity really only attracts… so you would need to amplify it to its stronger reality warping forms in order to manipulate Space like Gojo does. Makima is more control and command powers than gravity in my opinion.
I wonder, does this have anything to do with Gojo's limitless ability or at least can a master gravity user mimic his abilities ? Seems like you could create a black hole silhuotte around you and slow anything to a hault that comes into contact with you. Though it seems to me the drawback of gravity manipulation is having pin point control. I think it would be hard to have it's effects not have any colateral. Like if you attract a cup towards you, wouldn't that mean that anything within the vicinity that has a similar mass or less will also be attracted ?

Okay so hear me out, im trying to make a book that i think would be better as a show imo. But the Mc has Gravitational Manipulation which i count as the basics and advanced level as gravity manipulation. In this story, there is a difference between zero gravity and anti gravity (even tho there really isnt). Anti gravity is a more controlled zero gravity... Think of horizons gravity lift from apex. Henceforth anti gravity is blue and the rest of his abilities have no color. I have a detailed plan on how he will slowly gain almost everything in this video. The only things i left out are black hole and wormhole generation. Bit my problem right now is that im trying to come up with a way the mc can use his power ei how his hands move when he for instance increases gravity. Im trying to figure out what his hands do when he does all his abilities, and i cant really think of anything. And i need some help.
What I would do... is look up different hand signs that exist throughout world culture you know like Sign Language or Naruto hand signs in Asian cultures.... maybe take inspirations from those but put your own little flare on it... if that makes sense..... or make up your own hand signs but explain it to be relatable to real world concepts, in my opinion those kinds of examples are remembered more fondly in fiction....

Gravity is attraction... so all you have to do is give your gravity powers enough force to condense water (Condensation) in the air and collect it that way... or if you wanna be an ass... you can “juice” people or objects the same way you would squeeze water out a sponge and crush water out of the target.... Actually through gravity, we can configure elements up to Iron. From what I know at least. Stars usually have iron cores too because gravity crushes the atoms together while they are "malleable " from the energy.

Depending on how you want to portray it, thats up to you. Any power can be overpowered depending on its specifications.
Gravity is only one factor slowing you down. Air resistance/friction and inertia is still an issue.

Theoretically yes, accelerate yourself to the tolerable max and bend space in front of you to shorten the distance. You won't go faster than light, but you can cover more distance in the same amount of time

Its cool bro....... that depends on how you want to portray it... in theory.... if you can control the force or pressure of whatever gravity you produce that should allow you to control how fast you want objects to attract or repel to you..... Telekinesis is only similar because it allows you to defy gravity.... but to answer your question.... Id say Telekinesis is more about finesse and control and Gravity Manipulation is more about power and force.

Gravity powers are literally the force(Star Wars) but better. You can push, pull, control the weight, crush, lift, throw, and even control how gravity works in general. You are literally so busted to the point where even telekinesis seems inferior.
