Billy Cain this is pretty pop country and Tanya was pushing the boundaries with pop country back in the day just like Dolly Parton... Its not about if it's pop or country ITS ABOUT THE SOUL... Does the music have heart and soul... That's where today's country music and music in general is lacking... It's not about if it's pop or country... Reba is as country as dirt and she's well known for using popish undertones in her music and that's ok... As long as the music has substance depth meaning heart soul... U know

The only thing keeping Trisha back from outright greatest female country artist, imo, is she doesn’t write her own music. Still one of my all time favorites vocalists of any genre, and I love that she doesn’t strive for unhealthy body stereotypes. She is absolutely gorgeous and has almost everything a legend can hope for. Plus she’s a great cook ♥️

Every time I hear this song I get tingles
I like Trisha always having but watching a CMT Inside Fame and finding out the truth behind the song How Do I Live by LeAnn Rimes(who recorded it first) and then How Do I Live by Trisha Yearwood. That's shady to me! If I would have been Trisha I would have at least talked to Leann or her manager somebody and said look you know here's the deal they approached me wanting me to record this song even after you just recorded it and its nothing personal it's just a business decision I think I'm going to record it. But instead they rushed and released Trishas version first to country radio a low move in my opinion. So they released Leann's version and it outsold Trisha's version and I think was on the Top 40 (crossover from country helping Leann to crossover genres) But the industry seems pretty cut throat anyway its just not a way I would do business. I'm not huge fans of either I like their music but that's about it. Just thought that was kinda shady in my opinion. Maybe Trisha being a grown woman and having been in the business at least several years at this point I guess kinda expected more of Trisha so when I heard that I was a little disappointed.
