Loudest 50 watt bass amp I have ever heard. Louder than my Traynor YBA 1... not as loud as my Traynor Monoblock II (2). Filthy Stoner Metal tones for days,.
I used to have a Monobock II as well. If I had a Monoblock as well as this TS-50b, I'd probably end up just using the TS as a guitar amp, because the Monoblock II is basically the perfect all around bass amp and can tear down walls, haha
50 WATTS??!?!?! What is the point of even putting watt ratings on things if it makes no sense? My Monoblock is 325 watts, and it is louder, but not by much...
Ts50 has a different eq. Still low mid high but different frequencies. Other than that it has spring reverb but it sounds decent at best imo. I think overall ts50 and ts50b sounds very similar.

nice crocs. also your amp is pretty cool.

I used to have that exact rig. If you're in Southern Ontario, that could be my old one.
Boost made it sound like one of John Entwistle rigs..:)
Mines hooked to a 9 by 8 cab

+defactodrums well I have to start looking for this.
Its loud because of your 2x15, not because of your 50w. Speaker surface area = Loudness. Wattage = Headroom (hence why it breaks up so easily)
Sure, but certain amps do push harder than others. Probably has something to do with the transformers/output section.
LOL, ......oh look, there's a chipmunk :)
Anyone know the diff between a ts50b and a ts50?
