Just to let you know, we can tell the speaker is reading from a teleprompter. ❤
This is one of the BEST + Most Useful Videos, with Clear Instructions, that "this" USCCA RUclips Channel Has Put Out Recently. The "Guidance" Provided Here Will Most Certainly Help To Mitigate Issues/Challenges Following A Deadly Force Incident.
I Am NOT A USCCA Member. And I Am NOT Endorsing USCAA, Over Other Self-Defense Insurance Options. I Do, However, Live In An Overwhelmingly "Blue" State.
I Strongly Encourage Viewers NOT TO Follow "Random Internet Commentary", &/Or Misguided Vernacular That Would Otherwise Attempt To Justify - Presuppose - Otherwise Offer False Guidance, Following An "Use of Deadly Force" Encounter.
The Advice & Guidance They Are Offering Here, Following A "Use Of Deadly Force Encounter" Is Very Sound Advice !
How many actual clients did USCCA assist/succeed/pursue in their legal defense and financial support? (Bail, Fines, Court cost and fees), This is not a rhetorical question.
There are thousands of USCCA Members over the years that have acted legally in self-defense and tens of millions of dollars have been paid out on their behalf by the insurance company to defend them.
Not every single member wants to talk about it, but you are welcome to find real stories from members and/or their attorneys on our RUclips page and January magazines!
@@USCCAOfficial This video was very educational. It is a lot of misconception out there about what we can and cannot do
You better hope there’s video of the incident
The USCCA has a lot of great training to offer as part of a membership. You will be a much more responsible and wise gun owner if you take their online training. It is a constitutional right to bear arms. As an individual, you are responsible for legally exercising that right.
This video is AWESOME. Thank you Kevin.
Glad you liked it!
tell the cops you have chest pain and you want medical attention. Then they MUST take you to the hospital and the hospital MUST admit you. If they dont, you CAN win a big settlement in court vs them, PERSONALLY, This is true because for SURE, policy of the dept is that they HAVE to take you to the hospital if you request it. If they DONT do so, they are in violation of their own policies, so guess what? The city/county/state/feds are NOT going to provide an attorney for those cops (and have to pay any judgement)
So you spend the night in the hospital, not in jail, while your attorney, spouse, bail bondsman, etc, get started helping you. Never mention what happened to friends, guys at the jail, your spouse, or ANYONE, EVER, but the guy/gal who's agreed to be your attorney (and legally, cannot repeat what you tell him, to ANYONE). If they DO ever talk about it. they will lose their license to practice law. To a lawyer, that is like slicing off his ykw. or to a cop, taking his gun/badge/pension, same thing.
I don’t pull the trigger base on whats legally by the crocked system, but buy perspective in the fear for my life
Actually, no I haven't asked myself those questions. I educated myself early-on.
Rather shocking that there are owners out there who already bought the Hardware....
Yet have no clue when they can legally use it!
I did not buy any of my guns for self defense. I bought them because I like guns, the looks, the feel, the effects! Lately self defense has become more, and more into play because of lawless people moving about,
This video sheds light on key questions like when it's legally justifiable to pull the trigger and what to expect in the aftermath.
4 questions that I’ve asked multiple times but haven’t ever received an answer too…
1) We are traveling the country full time in an RV, our “domicile” address is in Indiana but most of our time is spent out of state. The question is, will I receive the same coverage when traveling outside of Indiana?
2) I am disabled and take hydrocodone (Norco) several times per day legally as prescribed by my pain management doctor so I always have it in my system but it does not impair me in any way. In the event that I have what would normally qualify as a self defense incident, would the fact that I have that opiate in my system at all times cause any claim I have to be denied?
3) Because of my disability, even though I’m 6’1” tall and 200 pounds, my definition of the potential for “fear of great bodily harm” is going to be significantly different than an average able bodied person of a comparable size, especially given that I can’t physically flee from an aggressor. In the event that an aggressor is unarmed but I fear being beaten to a pulp, if I end the threat, would I be covered given that the threshold for “fear of great bodily harm” is far far lower than “normal”?
4) I have heard that if a person accepts a plea deal or is found guilty of a charge being defended against, even if it is like 1 charge of say 4, that USCCA will seek reimbursement for any expenses incurred in defense of the member. Is that true? If it is true, is it only a portion of the expenses or all of them?
This is the best video you've ever posted for us. Thank you!! Keep giving us more.
Never say "you will make a full and complete statement". If you don't, a prosecutor can bring that statement up in court to hurt your case.
Should an event ever happen in my life... "please respect this.... I want to speak to my lawyer"
Here in Maryland, you have a "duty to retreat", so if you use a gun to defend yourself outside your home, you are more likely to go to prison than the criminal you were defending against.
USCCA has lost all credibility for me. Recent cases have come to light indicating benefits and representation after critical incidents have been denied or refused. A few well-known 2A proponents here on RUclips have documented cases that make USCCA a questionable option. Do your research before signing up.
There is a lot of misleading and straight up false information being spread online by competitors and their partners in regards to "dropping members" after incidents.
If you have questions or concerns about specific things you have heard, I'd be more than happy to address them with the facts that are so frequently left out.
@@USCCAOfficial Or..... maybe USCCA just defaults to supporting its members **BEYOND TERMS OF AGREEMENT**??????????????
Could you imagine a world where American companies OVER DELIVER? I can.
Not to mention their content is just cringe, this guy screams former used car salesman. Completely geared towards this tacti-cool generation of idiots. CCW Safe or US LawShield seem a lot more credible.

@@USCCAOfficial when you called a 100 lb woman a murderer for shooting her MMA FIGHTER, 200+ lb enraged ex husband who chased her to her car, ripped the door open as she fled him, and leaned into the vehicle she retreated to. Please do explain that one to us, I’ll wait
You should be referring back to mas AOJ triade

13:42 Why would the Police TRY to build a case against the person who legally defended themself? Sounds to me that something needs to change. If the Police actually TRY to build a legal case AGAINST the justified person in a self defense incident, then the Police force needs SERIOUS reformation. That sort of corruption makes me furious. 😡
TY USCCA 💯
Jumping the chain link fence and you can't get away spoken like a true lawyer
Retired no money no honey. Looks like I'll need to wait for the public defender.
Lifetime nightmares etc
This video should be required to view before you get your membership card You should have a group of video's as required to watch when signing up for membership. make that happen
Stick to the script. "I was in fear for my life. I used deadly force to stop the threat."I understand you have a job to do, Officer, but i will not answer any questions until i speak with legal counsel." SAY ABSOLUTELY NOTHING UNTIL YOU SPEAK WITH YOUR LAWYER. Who told me that? A criminal defense attorney, a 30 year police veteran, and a prosecutor for the state of Indiana.
Generally speaking, if you are not currently breaking the law, are legally and rightfully carrying a firearm, are in a place that you have a right to be in, and are in fear of death or great bodily harm to yourself or family, you are authorized in the use of lethal force to stop the threat. Once the threat is defeated, you are no longer authorized to use force.
This, of course, is subject to the state and local ordinances in which you live or act in. Know the law and be aware of your responsibilities reguarding carrying a weapon and use of force.
These videos give me anxiety, as they should. We’ve all come across those people that act like they want to get into a situation so they can use their firearm.
USCCA: "join the USCCA to protect yourself"
Also USCCA: "Residents of NY and some other states aren't allowed to join, millions of gun owners we won't even attempt to protect"
New York, New Jersey, and Washington have deemed this illegal so I fail to see how that’s the fault of the USCCA…
We are unable to sell memberships to residents of NY, NJ, and WA due to factors outside of our control.
However, if members are traveling to/through those three states, they still have access to member benefits.
It’s because certain states like New York and other blue states don’t allow certain coverages this happens with all insurance companies and policies- tell the truth
One of the most basic requirements is that one cannot claim self defense if they were initial aggressor.
Looking at you ATF!
Cannot set up situation where victim quite reasonably shoots back and then shoot them in self defense. Malinowski (?? AR airport exec) was murdered in cold blood.
This video does a great job breaking down key questions like 'When can you legally pull the trigger?' and 'What happens after?' It's essential to know your rights and responsibilities, especially in high-stress situations.
Great video. Information was in good, plain, and clear language. Very helpful.
Glad you enjoyed it!
He said he wrote a book on it. But he had more questions. Did he really write a book ?? if he did? I'm interested in looking that up.

Needing a gun owner to watch a youtube video to learn when to use it is pretty wild

@@USCCAOfficial ALWAYS!
Depending on the gun laws where you live you mine as well keep yours in the house.
Yeah let's look at your policy. How are you guys? Could pick and choose who you want to defend. That is scandalous. You should defend everybody. That's why I cashed my membership
Any lawful act of self defense not otherwise excluded can trigger the policy's benefits - no "picking and choosing".
And there are thousands of USCCA Members that have acted legally in self-defense and tens of millions of dollars have been paid out on their behalf by the insurance company to defend them.
@USCCAOfficial A big hypothetically....but if Kyle Ritten house was a USCCA member, and his trial resulted in just one guilty verdict of all of his charges, where would USCCA stand? If the answer isn't he's covered...why sell your policy?
So you’re not there to actually fight for the person in that moment if someone’s life is in danger and they pull the trigger and you deemed that it’s not legal what they did you’re not gonna fight to help them, but even though their life was in danger you’re just gonna be like no it wasn’t legal. We don’t have to cover you so, you’re not worth anything
@@ryanssten731 listen. Karen, I'm talking about their policy not defending life. Why don't you put your head out of your ass and actually read what was said
@@WrenchHead You're fake and you guys know you wouldn't took it regional policy
Cost is a person's life. Could be yours as well " incarceration "
Seems like the whole system is set up to entrap a defender
This video is an infomercial is it not? Because the only information I got from this video is that I should buy a USCCA membership.
There are likely millions and millions of gun owners out there that do NOT know the information in this video, to keep quiet etc
Didn’t kno I was bout to watch a commercial

Good luck if you got got uscca for insurance
There are actually thousands of USCCA Members that have acted legally in self-defense and tens of millions of dollars have been paid out on their behalf by the insurance company to defend them 👍
Many of them even wanted to tell their stories, and you can find those on our RUclips page and January magazine editions.
So USCCA can deny coverage AFTER taking your money 😂.Too many reports on this to even think about using you. You’re better off putting your money in an account and using it to pay a lawyer IF you ever need to pay one.
There is a lot of misleading and simply false information online about coverage and member benefits in general.
If you have specific questions or concerns about things you've heard, I'd be happy to address them with the facts that are so frequently left out.
Yall need to stop making videos unless yall explain why yall keep dropping people
We're happy to address any specific questions or concerns you have about things you've heard.
There is a lot of very misleading and straight up false information being spread online about member's cases or benefits in general.
FALSE
YOU FAILED
If you're in a no gun store, zone, area, city, or state...you can't shoot and because you're in a no gun location USCCA does not have to cover you, because you already violated the law.
My area, you can't have a firearm within 100 feet of a church or school property.
I did the math, looked at a map of my small town of 8k population.
You can't physically not be in a no gun zone anywhere in the 4x5 mile city limits.
So legally, per the law verbiage, you can't even take your firearm out hunting or to the range, maybe not even have it in your home.
Sounds like you need to move
That is actually a very common, and false, talking point brought up by competitors.
The policy specific states that violations of state/carry related laws are NOT counted as convictions, and therefore not something that impacts coverage (refer to 'conviction' definition).
This company won't protect you they might get you public defender
They're definitely a questionable operation. They have refused and denied legal representation in some cases.
Any lawful act of self defense not otherwise excluded can trigger the policy's benefits.
And USCCA members have the freedom to choose ANY qualified defense attorney they want to represent them.
Which company will ?
Read about the tons of people they saved- check the competition.
