I finally broke down and bought an expensive/fancy solder station with all kinds of attachments with gator clips. It is a must for how much wiring/soldering is involved with the lights on these trucks/trailers !
Cool! the rears are connected with a shaft so all the rear wheels are powered, Make sure to use antiwear grease in all the diffs and get a 80T crawler motor it's way to fast with a stock motor. Have fun!
Fun stuff, best thing for these is a 55 or 45t motor, with the 27t there just to figgity like, i used a 45t in the one i used to ride on, its a huge build and very well built,
also if you want to pull big loads there is a simple trick how to Not permanently lock the differentials, simply placing the spider gears in the diff cases in a different way, there is YT vides on it, if intrested,
these are cool trucks but why tf didnt they make them in 1/10 or 1/12 scale? A big rig hauling a clod would be awesome, but I could settle for hauling a lunchie or midnight pumpkin. with the rig in 1/14, everything looks too big.
It's a sweet build. I'm finishing one right now. The 1080 HW esc is sweet in these trucks. I just finished a Black Edition King Hauler too.
Awesome , looking forward to see it completed.
awesome
