Like Buster Keaton, Fatty was an extraordinary athlete and could run, jump, fall etc with the best of them.

Fue muy triste el destino de Fatty. Pero pienso que hoy está siendo valorizado de nuevo. Lo veo y me gustaría abrazarlo muy fuerte y decirle: " Gracias por las risas, hermano".

Arbuckle was a great man. Sad that they destroyed his career.

It makes you wonder. He was of a substantial size. Very physical performer. I wonder how often they had to reapply his makeup. He had to sweat like nobody’s business…

The girl is Winifred Westover the wife (for a while) of William S. Hart. Hart was one of a bunch who vehemently condemned Arbuckle at the 1921 Trial that found Arbuckle innocent but destroyed his on screen career. The high wheeling bike ride is Al St. John, Arbuckle's nephew.

I feel so bad for Arbuckle. He was one of the first pioneers of comedy in movies to have his name smeared like that and ruined his life. Poor guy - RIP to all.

The actress who played his love interest looks as if she could've been kirsten dunst's grandmother!.

My guess would be Buster Keaton would have played the Mario Bianchi role if he hadnt been called off to war

    Little girl,
    Go your way.
    I don't touch you
    And you don't touch me.
    Don't wrap me
    Like a huntress, flags.
    Please don't tease me
    With your pies.
Not needed and a gift to me
    Your cool buns.
    I know how it ends
    Similar walks.
    I know that such meetings
    Promise us only troubles,
And what do they lead to
    Similar innocent conversations.
    Ivonin.

Al St. John, Arbuckle's nephew, was definitely tooth challenged. In later decades he played a character in Westerns called Fuzzy, usually without dentures. I actually think he's great: ruclips.net/video/c2e5slg0UhQ/видео.html

He had them knocked out at an early age and since it gave him a distinctive smile, he just went with it!
