That was one of the greatest baseball games (both real life & The Show) I've ever watched. I was on the edge of my seat throughout the game. Thank you for all the work you've put into this franchise series and the others that you've done. I've been binge watching your A's and Broncos franchises. Both are excellent. Keep up the great work!
Ranger Suarez has a really fun career journey. He started out in the Phillies bullpen pitching in blowouts and uncompetitive spots, then got so good he became the setup man, then the closer... And then they decided to make him a starter. All of that happened in the same season. He went from Griffin Jax, to Yennier Cano, to Josh Hader, to Sonny Gray all in one season.
Ranger Suarez 2021 breakdown: Middle reliever: First 10 games 17.1 IP 0.0 ERA Setup man: Next 7 games 11.2 IP 2.31 ERA Closer: Next 10 games 11.1 IP 1.59 ERA 4 Saves Starter: Next 12 games 65.2 IP 1.51 ERA 1 Complete game shutout 6 Games with atleast 6 IP
I've just turned off "throw canceling" for the exact situations you've run into with the slow animations leading to hitting the button twice. This happens way more than needing to throw cancel, especially against the CPU. I've never regretted it Having said that, truly a September classic and an epic game. Looking forward to the off-season now!
Thought to myself: "Cane didn't upload yesterday. Hope he drops something today." Literally 5 seconds later this drops. You're in my head, Cane. Keep it up man.
One of the best games we’ve seen in your mlb franchises by far. For the offseason and going into next year I would keep kopech since he has A potential as a reliever and I would not count on mason wynn, roby and hence to be factors for next year they need to develop more in AAA and keeping them in the majors at low 70s won’t do much good. Pumped for the offseason!!!
what. a. game. cane you somehow manage to consistently deliver the most riveting content youtube has ever seen. this why u the goat. can’t wait for the offseason
A channel defining game! We gotta get the offense in gear next season, idk if the answer is in the minors, but the pitching staff really did their job this series. Thanks for your hard work Cane!
That was just insane, there wasn't much you could have done better there. Also please do what you did last season and show some of the world series, just thought that was a cool touch.
A nail-biter right to the end! The Cards were one pitch away at one point but you never know what can happen. With some more talent in pitching and more RBI's this team could be Pennant bound next season!
Cane, this was a truly special game, and I think it was a wonderful showcase for the team and the franchise. Even in a loss, it was fantastic to watch.
EDIT 1: Okay, I was right lol 53:16 Haven't finished the episode yet 47:28 But I'm fairly sure that pitchers from your starting rotation can come off the bench if necessary? Correct me if I'm wrong. Obviously this is a major detriment to your rotation during the (potential) next series, but better than being knocked out cuz you're running your worst pitchers ragged. EDIT 2: What an amazing game! Instant channel classic and so fun to watch. This wildcard series proved what we knew: the pitching staff is great (but maybe overperforming this year?), but the offense needs work. There's pieces there, but 6 runs over a best-of-3 series in the playoffs is NOT good enough. The pitchers and defense showed out during this 15 inning grind, but the bats did not. That's what we need.
On the entertainment via Wikipedia page things, my friends and I have a group chat where we named WRs from 2010-2015 and went until we ran out of names. Took the 3 of us almost 2 hours to run out of names. We named guys like Jordan Shipley, Albert Wilson, Donnie Avery, and Jericho Cotchery. Great time
I played against Jeff Hoffman in high school. He played for Shaker in NY. Dude struck me out 4 times out of 4 PA's. Not even gonna false brag. Dude had insane stuff (I graduated in 2011)
Man an all time classic but the Cards come just short of avenging their 2022 wild card series loss to the Phillies. Also what is Bohms playe discipline because i swear the man didnt chase a pitch out of the zone the whole series
6 or 7 runs is just not enough in a best of 3 series. You mentioned your loce for those pitchers who could just put it anywhere. Betcha loved corey kluber as a twins fan ;)
Man kopech being a lone man on an island in the dugout, hasn’t made an appearance in the playoffs, just waiting for an opportunity, and cane is leaving him as the very very last resort pitcher 😂😂😂
Perfection.. weve seen the best baseball game ever played... AND THE REBUILD IS JUST GETTING STARTED WTF :') thx Cane im due for 15 heart attacks throughout this rebuild Over the cards xD as die hard reds fan hurts to say i reaally wanted the cards to win this one
I always check the exit velos to not get fooled. 85 and 87, those had a chance of going out if they were hit at or pretty near the foul pole. If not they need at least 92-3 or a little less with a good launch angle
Great game and series I think you should try playing more small ball when your struggling to get runners on base and in a deciding game use starters and relievers
For hitting, you might wanna try and zoom in your camera just a bit. You can make a custom camera and start with the camera you’re using as the base, then just zoom in a tad so you can get a better look at the pitch. Me personally as a viewer, my experience won’t be ruined because I can’t see a foot above the batter’s head
So I was thinking there are some plays that are more difficult for Gorman at 2nd maybe you could go Donovan at 2nd. Winn at SS move Edmond to the outfield with Nootbar and Scott/Carlson then you can have Gorman as DH and have Gorman train his fielding until it gets better.
Can you make a video where you explain how you stay so interested in a series? I can’t seem to stay interested. It feels like when I sim I miss out on too much.
Spoilers. What a game! Have to think it was a mistake not walking Harper though in that position. Come back stronger next year! I think it would make sense to make Walker's primary position 1B since he's played almost 2 full seasons there now
I definitely think that the team should look to bring back Steven Matz, because I do not think that all three top pitching prospects will be guaranteed to be ready, he should be pretty cheap and likely only for one more year. Then, I think it would be smart to look to free agency for a guy who could slot in at either long relief or a 5th starter position, if one or two of the prospects do struggle in spring training or to start the season. You do not want to be in a situation where you have to keep a struggling young pitcher up in the majors because they're just are no options other than a bad free agent or waiver guy. Even if it's just someone like Kyle Gibson was this year. Otherwise, bench power bat would be good for this team.
Depending on how good the game is there are many things I want to do. I'd like to do a Raiders style series as that would be a totally new thing for me in CFB. I also want to look at Road to Glory and do more prequels for great players from past games.
1. Great video as usual 2. Those blue Phillies jerseys are terrible 3. Arenado seems washed. Couldnt get that Rojas catch over the fence and @ 36:34 almost hit into a triple play. I think a sacrifice bunt with a guy that hasnt got a postseason hit yet, possibly moving runners at 1st/2nd with no outs both into scoring position in a tie ball game in extra innings could have worked well 4. Pitching overall was good except a few spots especially the Harper solo in the 13th just can’t happen I dont care who’s batting 5. Bottom line my opinion is, out with most of the older players ur on the fence about, and in with the new blood and continue to build the farm. Sprinkle in plenty of vets for leadership/mentorship etc, and see what the new blood has

was expecting the sad Mr Hurriicane music to hit at 55:15
Thought to myself: "Cane didn't upload yesterday. Hope he drops something today."
Literally 5 seconds later this drops. You're in my head, Cane. Keep it up man.
He uploaded yesterday 😂
@@HiddenPanths You're right 🤣 I was thinking main channel. My bad!
these warning track shots are bruuutal hahah
Cane I love you man but I was begging for an intentional walk on Harper in extras lol. Super fun game to watch
Phillies Fan here: we love Ranger Suarez so much. I’m happy to see others appreciate him
Lars to mars on that hr
Of course Arenado gets a hit the one time the infield isn’t at double play depth lol

I can’t be the only one that said oh no when Cane called the change up in the zone with Harper at the plate.
Same. An awful decision
Same, I said to myself just pitch around him, nothing over the plate and then...
Taijuan Walker pitching like Taijuan Walker irl lmao
That was one of the greatest games I've ever seen, video game or not
Kopech Offseason Wish List
1. Switch to STRETCH motion
2. DROP worst pitch
3. ADD mph-FB avgs 99mph irl
4. Let eat @ AAA
He could be an elite late inning guy by midseason
That A potential at a reliever and only in mid 20s he could be like a high 80s when he hits 30
In season 5 of my white Sox dynasty I have Kopech as my closer with a 91 overall 😮
Jordan walker bought himself a Ferrari on that swing
Easily the best game I've ever seen on the channel! Keep battling Hurricane
Could you show the opposing pitchers stat line in big matchups in the future?
That was just insane, there wasn't much you could have done better there. Also please do what you did last season and show some of the world series, just thought that was a cool touch.
What a legendary game. This is the kinda game that makes you love baseball.
A nail-biter right to the end! The Cards were one pitch away at one point but you never know what can happen. With some more talent in pitching and more RBI's this team could be Pennant bound next season!
Instant Classic indeed!!
Cane, this was a truly special game, and I think it was a wonderful showcase for the team and the franchise. Even in a loss, it was fantastic to watch.
46:03 almost immediately in my head I said I don’t like that location lol and then that happened
That Walker swing was pure!
Holy shit, what a game. WHAT. A. GAME.
Absolutely heartbreaking 😭 gotta walk Harper before that HR
EDIT 1: Okay, I was right lol 53:16
Haven't finished the episode yet 47:28

Jordan Walker: Channel Legend.
One of the best games ever. On the upside very good rotation performances this series. Excited to see things moving forward

Painful ending but I was on edge the entire game 😂
you gotta think there is wailing and gnashing of teeth from the fans for pitching to Bryce. very fun vid
Watching this as a Phillies fan, that was an average Taijuan Walker pitching outing XD giving up two home runs
Man an all time classic but the Cards come just short of avenging their 2022 wild card series loss to the Phillies. Also what is Bohms playe discipline because i swear the man didnt chase a pitch out of the zone the whole series
Epic.
-Cubs fan
Great series Cane hopefully the guys come back even better next season
I knew when you through that strike off the plate Harper was gonna get payback 😭🤣
6 or 7 runs is just not enough in a best of 3 series.
You mentioned your loce for those pitchers who could just put it anywhere.
Betcha loved corey kluber as a twins fan ;)
By far best game of baseball I've seen.
Just got home from Rhys Hoskins first game back in the bank. Glad to see the Phillies win here, much to be excited for in this franchise though!
Perfect timing ! I just finished watching Game 1 & Game 2. Can’t wait to see what happens in Game 3
One of the best games in any MH series ever, regardless of outcome. Was a coin flip in extras.
Cards fan here.. Figured it would be Gallegos that blew it but Mikolas is nearly as fitting
This is a fantastic series and can't wait to see how it unfolds :)
Man kopech being a lone man on an island in the dugout, hasn’t made an appearance in the playoffs, just waiting for an opportunity, and cane is leaving him as the very very last resort pitcher 😂😂😂

I always check the exit velos to not get fooled. 85 and 87, those had a chance of going out if they were hit at or pretty near the foul pole. If not they need at least 92-3 or a little less with a good launch angle
Sad for the season to end but being from Fargo and working with his aunt, I’m glad strahm got the w
This one aged me, what a game!
As a Braves fan I don’t know if I’ve wanted the Cardinals to ever win a game more
agony.
Great game and series I think you should try playing more small ball when your struggling to get runners on base and in a deciding game use starters and relievers
Man. Hell of a game.
What a series.🔥😭
What a game!!
Any plans for a live stream over the offseason and spring training ??
incredible game what a marathon

Zack Thompson is no Paul Skenes 😂
Thought I was watching GPS with that music intro into the game
So I was thinking there are some plays that are more difficult for Gorman at 2nd maybe you could go Donovan at 2nd. Winn at SS move Edmond to the outfield with Nootbar and Scott/Carlson then you can have Gorman as DH and have Gorman train his fielding until it gets better.
Man Jordan Walker is a dawg
that was the most bryce harper home run ever
Masyn Winn is a superstar level talent and it's sad he doesn't really factor in here because his ratings are lower than they should be.
Hell of a game
Can you make a video where you explain how you stay so interested in a series? I can’t seem to stay interested. It feels like when I sim I miss out on too much.
Unis for Philly are fire
Spoilers.
What a game! Have to think it was a mistake not walking Harper though in that position. Come back stronger next year! I think it would make sense to make Walker's primary position 1B since he's played almost 2 full seasons there now
Awsome content as usual.
After I just watched Kyle Hendrix pitch a game, can anyone please explain how Vaseline Ball is not one of his pitches?
As a phillies fan, bittersweet seeing the W. I know that's a game that would be talked about on sports radio for YEARS
Helluva game Cane. 👍

What. A. Game.
My, my what a game
Cmon cane all that just for you to break my heart
It didn’t end up mattering but gallegos 100% should’ve been in the game before kopech
I can’t believe the Harper homer. Actually insane, what fight from the Cards though!
This is Jordan Walkers team now
Are you going to do a raiders type sim franchise for college football?
Depending on how good the game is there are many things I want to do. I'd like to do a Raiders style series as that would be a totally new thing for me in CFB. I also want to look at Road to Glory and do more prequels for great players from past games.
Should’ve had Gorman bunt in the 14th
If you tap the button once they will most of the time make the play
Playoff baseball is unmatched
Unbelievable
🔥🔥
Omg what a game lol
31 minutes into a 58 minute video and we're in the bottom of the 9th. Yeah I suspect this went to extras.
Victor Scott makes that catch😢
1. Great video as usual
2. Those blue Phillies jerseys are terrible
3. Arenado seems washed. Couldnt get that Rojas catch over the fence and @ 36:34 almost hit into a triple play. Why did you pitch to Harper bro. Huge L. Awesome episode Tho.
ABSOLUTELY HEARTBREAKING
Hate the cards but damn that was awesome
🔥
Pitching lets you down, need some new arms. Great game.
Whatever pitcher gave up that Harper homerun needs to go... even if he had a good season doesn't matter
🔥🔥🔥🔥
This game was the best I have ever watched even including last year. Had me on the edge of my seat.
Great beer league unis HORRIBLE for the MLB Playoffs lolol
REMATCH CARDS WIN 100 PERCENT THAT GAME WINNING HR WAS BS
