I am currently building a set of Audrey 2s reminiscent of the movie version (so it looks more realistic) and would like to know more about the bungy cord mechanism for the plant. Also, would foam and latex work for this design? Overall, I'd like to more about the basic construction.
I got the role of Audrey II in my high-school play this year! I am a 16 year old sophomore girl, I weigh 110 pounds and am about 5'7''. Do you think I am big enough to be able to control the fourth Audrey?
Hey- I much prefer these old ones. The new designs seem more precise and neat, but I like the more organic, real look. Why did you change them? Do you still have/use the old ones?
Beautiful craftmanship. Very well done.
@hoop44ify That is because we worked on the Broadway show, and were given permission by the designer to build a set that reflected those designs.
I bet anything its not as easy as it looks, but it sure looks like fun!

This is perfect. Thanks for making the videos.

Is this the same one used in the 2003 broadway?
No, but they are the same design. We did build and perform with the 2003 Broadway production though.
These puppets look like the one Martin P Robinson made and performed for the broadway production of little shop of horrors

Special_Effect These are Marty Robinson's designs from the 2004 Broadway production. Are you referring to the movie designs when you say "old ones"?
coconut eater Depends on the size. I think they we mostly cable controlled.
If we rented this for a school play would you suggest a puppeteer and an off stage actor for the voice or the actor puppeteer the plant as well?
That's huge!
