Nengabo is an adaptation of Luhya traditional songs first perfomed as Ingabo by Kenyan Gospel artist Gloria Muliro then arranged by Mr. Sylvester Otieno. He is a veteran of choral music having written for, performed and conducted many international and local choirs gaining him a very wide experience with the different genres of music.
Mr. Sylvester Otieno holds several awards including presidential awards for his input in the choral world. His base in Kenyatta University under the department of Music and Dance promises to produce and shape several individuals that engage with him into legends just as he is with all the knowledge he instills in them.
Nengabo is a luhya song arrangement speaking of Jesus as a shield given unto us against the evil one and that he who does not believe in Him shall not see God. It basically gives Christians hope and confidence that by believing in Jesus they will see the kingdom of God.
