yes it was an actual concert that they filmed! stray kids are known to have a lot of fun during concerts, if you think they’re passionate normally you NEED to see what they’re like when fans are cheering for them. they’re all made to be on stage. they will have extremely high energy and dance and jump 3 hours non stop, do emotional ending ments, joke with fans and each other, try their best to read all the signs and posters and look at their fans. i think stray kids are the most stray kids when they are performing
This song doesn’t sound corny or manufactured. I can feel the love they have for each other, a loving family vibe. Seeing them perform this song in concert is heartwarming. The while arena felt like a SKZ family :)
First, Bang Chan (oldest) introduces I.N (maknae). Then they introduce the next person in order of age, from youngest to oldest. I.N > Seungmin > Felix > Han > Hyunjin > Changbin > Lee Know > Bang Chan By the way, you miss some parts when you watch the video without pause. Please feel free to do things like pause, rewind the video. As Stays, we value the attention given to Stray Kids content 😊
They're actually singing one part to another! I think it was mentioned that Changbin wrote the part for Han and Han wrote Lee Know's (if I'm wrong, anyone can correct me!) I'm not entirely sure about the other ones. It's Chan who starts the song to Innie and then it goes from youngest to oldest. It's like introducing each of the members before beginning the whole album. Thank you for video and your reaction! Ps: 3RACHA is also called GymRacha 😂
Little facts: Every Japanese songs they made, were actually originally Korean. But they released it in Japanese first. And the might or might not released them in Korean. The MV is actually from an ACTUAL concert they had in Korea. The B Side of the SKZ-REPLAY actually the songs that they had released before but only on RUclips (SKZ-RECORD / SKZ-PLAYER)= SKZ-REPLAY. They remastered/re-recorded the songs and released them as digital songs.
If y'all ever get the chance, you HAVE to see SKZ live. They are insanely good and you will fall in love with every single member all over again. Their passion and energy on stage is on another level. They were all born to perform. I saw them last year during the Maniac world tour and I will never ever forget it. The memory is burned into my brain forever.
Of course they wrote FAM in Korean before translating in Japanese, but they released this song in 2020. They had to update to 2022 version, as this lyrics is introducing each other, and they had to update some of their inside jokes. Hyunjin is now called Ferret, and he’s into paintings, so therefore called him ‘artist’ but still not in Japanese version. Felix has been called ‘Master Chef’ in Japanese version, but he doesn’t bake so often as he used to, so slight changes here as well. In regards to B side, these are the solo / unit songs released on RUclips only. Finally we can have them on Spotify and other streaming platforms. A lot of the songs have music videos as well. Make sure to check them out, cuz their low budget MV’s are creative and fantastic as well.
Oh my God when you get to streetlight.... Even if you don't react to it I highly suggest watching the m/v because .... It's just......changbini's lyrics along with him showing all of the emotion in his eyes that went into them while he performs makes me cry everytime. Love you guys, thank you 💕
im pretty sure that they first make the guides in korean and then if they decide to have it be a japanese release they tweak the guide and translate the lyrics so that it fits better, but otherwise im sure that the original version was korean, as that is what bang chan said was the case for circus
I love to hear you complete your thoughts. It would be ok for you to pause if necessary. Your expertise is what I appreciate about your reactions over others.
SKZ Replay is a collection of new solo songs and then their previous youtube only SKZ Player/Record songs. Stray Kids have this series called SKZ Player and SKZ Record where members just experiment writing songs either solo or in different combinations, the series also includes self-choreographed dances or sometimes covers they do to basically try out new skills and challenge themselves. They released this album as a bit of a Christmas gift, stream only so we can finally add these songs to playlists etc.. I think every track on the B side of SKZ Replay was made by members asking Chan for a track and then they go off and try writing. Some songs, like Maknae On Top by I.N took a couple of years to write because I.N was new to song writing, some are just fun combinations like Changbin and Felix getting together to write something, or Up All Night, one of the first songs Chan wrote as a trainee. It's a really cool album because you get to hear more of the individual styles of SKZ as musicians. I hope you enjoy it.
The B-Side songs are already released songs on RUclips only through out the years. Usually those songs are unit or solo works of members. It was kind of bonus content, but stays really wanted them on streaming platforms so we finally got them on this year through SKZ-Replay.
This was my first favorite stray kids song because it made me so happy to hear them talk about each other. It also helped me learn their names and voices 😂
They've been singing this at concerts for a while. They wrote their own lyrics for each other. I love how much fun they have, and you can really feel the love they have for each other. Look up this video from two years ago, on the SKZ official Japan channel: Stray Kids 『FAM』 Lyric Music Video
The B-side are songs they originally only posted on their RUclips channel. They do this every now and then from originals to covers. But those songs were not on streaming services but only on RUclips. Fans were begging to get them on streaming platforms and we were heard :) and since the release of replay album Han went and released another song on RUclips so we’ll need to wait for replay 2.0 to get to stream volcano😅 All in all stays are getting fed a lot. Btw quite a few of the b-side songs do have MVs worth to watch.
Ohmygod your reaction is so funny lmao, I’m so excited about ur reaction to the solo songs I’m sure you’ll have so much fun, but u guys can react to each 2songs in one vid!
cant wait for the rest of the album!! for the7:21 they do korean ver first ofc and then with a translator's help they rewrite and compose the whole thing, so there are even completely diff lyrics but the overall meaning is basically same. I recommend the ENGLISH VERSIONS to get an idea :) domino, double knot and slump are the ones first came to my mind. They aren't popular I guess bc korean feels more natural and they released eng versions as random albums' last tracks :( But definitely worth give it a listen
This one was produced by 3Racha but they do have some ot8 songs that have all the members' credits in them. Mixtapes #1-5 someone correct me if I'm wrong but I believe it's 'Placebo', 'Behind the Light', 'For You', 'Broken Compass', and 'Hoodie Season' respectively. These are actually old songs that were rerecorded into their SKZ2021 album released digitally (on spotify and the like) if you're interested. You'll notice that these ones also don't have a fixed melody since the members did their own parts. I'm actually really amazed how the songs all sound cohesive despite this. Really goes to show how great they are at producing their songs and how great their chemistry is as a whole.
Since no-one else seems to have mentioned this, there are solos from each member and then the other songs are from SKZ-Player on here, hence the album name.
Surprise surprise they’ve already finished everything for the next korean album and rumored to be released soon but the date hasn’t been published yet😭 And we already got A LOT spoilers😂
Afaik, they wrote in Korean, had them translated to Japanese, and then it's either these are the original lyrics or were tweaked a little more to fit Korean's cadence (since they also match the Japanese cadence for their Japanese songs) - and yaaazzz the solos! (and some duets and subgroups hehe)
The REPLAY b-sides are some of the most popular releases from their SKZ-Record and SKZ-Player projects. SKZ-Record and SKZ-Player aree essentially playlists that operate like channels-within-a-channel and are where they releases whatever the hell they want. Original songs, cover songs, original raps, original choreo set to outside songs, original choreo set to original songs. Solos, duets, small groups. Basically anything that they want to explore as artists outside of the framework of ot8 SKZ. SKZ-Records don't have full-blown videos (other than the Two Kids Songs, since it's just footage from the sessions); SKZ-Players do. It's where iconic works like "Maknae on Top," "Play with Fire," "I Got It," "Up All Night," and tons more can be found. Where you can hear Changbin solo-cypher and Han spit out a full-on diss track in response to Mnet/MAMA BS, where Changbin and Felix sing sweetly to each other, where Chan destroys us all with the simplest pain-filled ballad, where Han's entire trilogy (Close, Wish You Back, HaPpY) can be listened to in order to understand the full arc of that relationship, where Hyunjin released his first original song and memorialized his puppy, where a too-rare example of Lee Know's original choreo can be found in "Dawn," where Seungmin and I.N go all in on gorgeous covers to flex their chops, where Felix was the only holdout without a solo piece (finally received on the REPLAY album) but was involved in multiple duo/group ventures, where Han basically just releases the random masterpieces overflowing his brain and phone. In other words: the REPLAY album is a start, but it's nowhere near the whole picture. Y'all said "EVERY SONG," so I'm letting you know that these all count. Some of them were "unofficial" for literally years until the REPLAY album; others aren't on that album and thus are still only findable on SKZ-Record/Player. But they're _all_ beloved and considered part of SKZ's music.
The b side songs were all originally released on RUclips as SKZ-Players but they weren't on any other streaming services so stay were all excited they were added to the album so we could listen to them on Spotify/apple music
I'm so excited to see you guys get into this album...ofc there's a lot of ground to cover with SKZ but I think nothing is more interesting than getting into their individual writing styles! great reaction as always ^^
I Love This Song So Much They Truly Are A #Fam N Entire Song Dedicated To Each Other n, I Love How They Played Tag With Their Individual Dedication Intros n, How They Do Their Trademark Of Going In Order Of Age ( Youngest To Oldest n Vice Versa ) Yes, It Is One Of Their Concerts Their Concerts Are Completely Insane, Jus Like Them 😸 They Do E'rything n More Their 2023 Japan Tour Is A MUST SEE !! The B-side is full of solos and small unit songs that they’ve made and put on RUclips basically for for fun over the years. It’s just they’re now available on Spotify and for one of them, ‘Zone’ I think it’s a re-recorded version but I’m not certain
Yessssss!!! Ugh can’t wait for you to react to Connected, Deep End, Doodle, Wish you back and Zone!! And the B side were all previously released songs here on YT under “Skz Player”! I guess that’s why it’s called Replay!
Soo I'm not sure if you take requests but there's a song that I really like. It's Thai and it's called Dum Dum by Jeff Satur. He released an English version also. It's a masterpiece of a song. If you could check it out I would be so happy!
I always get excited when you react to Stray Kids. Can't wait for you to react to more of them and also their solo songs are awesome!! I always like hearing your opinion in their songs since you understand the language, I find songs in my own language sound so good but when translated to english it loses its impact.
There are some differences in the lyrics from the Japanese, but some of that might have been that they updated a lot of the nicknames and memes that they used for each member. This is very very geared toward Stays who know all the special bits about the members--they all use their lowest voices when they say "Felix", they call IN "Baby Bread", Seungmin "Puppy" and Han "Quokka" (similar to a squirrel) which are all nicknames that are well known to Stays and often used by the members themselves. Like calling Lee Know "weird"--that's a big recent meme. These guys know all their internet references, it is so much fun!
SKZ-Red Lights….Double Knot NCT-Ay-Yo…Sticker….Kick It WayV- Bad Alive…Turn Back Time…Phantom Seventeen- Cheers…Fear…Hot Kpop is so vast, most of the groups have a huge catalog of songs. It’s a rabbit hole. I love K-pop but let’s address the elephant in the room. It’s a billion dollar business and the idols get a fraction of what they deserve. They all can dance and sing. Plus the endless promotion and the little side projects and the hours of practice and the endless public scrutiny of their life, looks, body and attitude….they deserve more money. Ok I’m done now❤ Side note… I love you guys!!
Love your reactions and love your excitement over the music, but sometimes the talking over the music gets confusing. Maybe pause to talk or listen to song twice?
I agree! I love their reactions, but I feel like by talking over the music they kinda miss the lyrics, as well as some parts of the song, and I'd appreciate it if they could pause to comment on it
"fam" it goes from the youngest to the oldest starting with the oldest singing about the youngest and chan said they originally write in korean and then translate to japanese , the japanese version is a little different when it comes to lyrics but they both slay , it was written by 3racha and versachoi and produced by bang chan and versachoi as for the album , the B sides are songs we've heard because they have this little section on their channel that is skz play and skz record (skz replay) , where they post covers or original songs so the B side songs came from that which it's the biggest win for ppl (like me) that have always wanted the songs on spotify and can finally have it , imma say you guys gonna be surprised by lee know and felix the most when it comes to the A side songs and i can see you guys loosing your minds over doodle
Yes, this is recent real concert footage. The original Japanese version (which was a b-side to "All In") also has a full video (I've mentioned before not to fall into the trap of thinking that only videos that say "MV" are videos; this one is a good example, as this full-on video is just marked as a lyrics video). However, the lyrics are only in Japanese, per the norm with Japanese videos. Conveniently, though, a STAY uploaded that original video with eng subs baked in, which makes things easy: ruclips.net/video/hsNHapj4Dno/видео.html As with all their songs that have multiple language versions (Korean + English "Double Knot," Korean + English + Japanese "Slump," etc), the lyrics are changed a bit depending on which language is used, for the sake of flow and rhyme scheme and whatnot, but the overall message of course remains the same. In the case of FAM, the original version came out years before this version, so there's actually a difference in some of the personal references because they've accounted for the changes and growth in members between the time of the original version and this new updated one. For instance, Changbin was neither as Dwaekki-connected nor workout-focused and built back then as he is now, so the lyrics today reflect current Changbin rather than outdated references in the older version. They write everything in Korean first. Then, if it's for Japanese release, they work with a Japanese writer to make things translate well into Japanese. (For rare English releases, they have Chan and Felix.) So "FAM" started life in Korean, then got translated into Japanese, with all the necessary work to maintain flow and cadence and whatnot. We did warn you: _All_ of them rap. Notice that it's in age order? Chan (eldest) starts with I.N (maknae), I.N raps about Seungmin (second youngest), Seungmin about Felix (third youngest), and all the way up to Lee Know (second eldest) about Chan.
You should turn on the lyrics next time! They are indeed like a family. In the chorus they literally say "we see each other more than we see family". Just the way they talk about one another in a way that is not forced, you can really see their appreciation for each other
"I don't know who actually produced the song..." 3RACHA. There is ONE ot8 song _not_ produced by any member of 3RACHA -- their collab with Alesso and Corsak, "Going Dumb." ONE. Out of more than 150. And that's because it's not really their song; they were invited to be vocalists on Alesso and Corsak's song, so not the same thing. The only other one that comes close to that level of uninvolvement is the OST "Neverending Story," wherein Changbin was a lyricist but the overall production was handled by the k-drama's production staff. Now you know the one and only SKZ song not produced by SKZ; every single other song you hear from them, period, will have been produced by them. If it's a unit song, it will have been produced by the members of that unit (Muddy Water, Red Lights, Surfin', Taste, etc). The five formerly numbered Mixtapes are all eight members on lyrics, with 3RACHA on production as usual. If it's any full-group song other than "Novel" (by Seungmin) or "DLMLU" (by Hyunjin), it's by 3RACHA (and even both of those were produced with Chan, so 3RACHA is still involved). So the answer to "I don't know who produced the song" will (barring "Going Dumb") _always_ be "3RACHA" in one iteration or another. In the case of "FAM," it's all of 3RACHA (none of the other members), including lyrics and top line (and recording engineering and arranging in Chan's case, and vocal direction in all of 3RACHA's case; they literally recorded it in Channie's Room). I can't find my notes rn, so I can't remember most of the specifics about which of the three wrote which parts (other than Han writing his little self-mocking part in the verse about himself, and him writing Lee Know's), but another STAY can absolutely fill in that blank because we do have the info.
SO excited for the rest of the album it's insane.
❤
Yeyyyyy... I m very excited 😭
"Replay" album is a surprise for every songs
Can't wait for your reaction😍
Ypu can check their album mashup from in life to maxident
me too!! Pls check out soon!!
I’m pretty sure Chan confirmed that they write the Korean versions of their songs before translating/adapting them into Japanese!
Yes. He said that.
changbin also said so
They do generally, but apparently for FAM the lyrics do differ quite a bit.
@@zcst4eva yep, that’s why I included “adapt”; some of their songs can’t be directly translated or it’ll mess with the flow
They write in Korean and do the guides in Korean, then adapt the songs for different languages.
There are differences in all the translations.

I can confirm this comment. They were born to be a family of stage performers and goof balls :)
This song doesn’t sound corny or manufactured. I can feel the love they have for each other, a loving family vibe. Seeing them perform this song in concert is heartwarming. The while arena felt like a SKZ family :)

They updated the Korean version lyrics to be more current.

All of them are my bias, but Changbin is my ultimate bias/bias wrecker. I totally, totally agree about Streetlight!!! Oh. My. Gosh. 😢🥹
saw them 2 days ago and this is such a banger live!!

You’re going to love there individual songs. Lee knows is probably the most confusing but if you watch his lives you’d understand it right away 😂
I love to hear you complete your thoughts. It would be ok for you to pause if necessary. Your expertise is what I appreciate about your reactions over others.

All skz japanese songs are korean songs that was translated to Japanese
Back with another straykids video!!
They've been singing this at concerts for a while. They wrote their own lyrics for each other. I love how much fun they have, and you can really feel the love they have for each other.
Look up this video from two years ago, on the SKZ official Japan channel:
Stray Kids 『FAM』 Lyric Music Video
I wish your reactions were longer lol. I know you say everything you want to say but I would watch y'all for 20 mins. 40 mins!
the bsides are solo/unit songs they have released on youtube for fun over the passed 4-5 years.
I got 7 of the Replay songs on my daily playlist. You are in for some TREATS!
The B-side are songs they originally only posted on their RUclips channel. They do this every now and then from originals to covers. But those songs were not on streaming services but only on RUclips. SKZ is really good at everything
they’re performing it on tour right now! i posted a video of it, they’re really having so much fun!

I always get excited when you react to Stray Kids. Can't wait for you to react to more of them and also their solo songs are awesome!! I always like hearing your opinion in their songs since you understand the language, I find songs in my own language sound so good but when translated to english it loses its impact.
the B side are songs they already released as "skz-records" on their youtube.
Always love your react! Stray kids are are a big family (FAM)!
I wish you could see "KINGDOM Performances" 😭
Could you perhaps do a reaction video to stray kids “battle ground” It’s lit. I swear.
All the best listening to the rest of the tracks! Cz it’s a rollercoaster.. 😆
SKZ-Red Lights….Double Knot
NCT-Ay-Yo…Sticker….Kick It
WayV- Bad Alive…Turn Back Time…Phantom
Seventeen- Cheers…Fear…Hot
Kpop is so vast, most of the groups have a huge catalog of songs.
Ok I’m done now❤
Side note… I love you guys!!
They first did this in Korean. Love it.
Love your reactions and love your excitement over the music, but sometimes the talking over the music gets confusing. Maybe pause to talk or listen to song twice?
I agree! I love their reactions, but I feel like by talking over the music they kinda miss the lyrics, as well as some parts of the song, and I'd appreciate it if they could pause to comment on it
Thank you for doing SKZ reactions!
Please do reactions for VICTORY SONG and WOLFGANG too 😊
"fam" it goes from the youngest to the oldest starting with the oldest singing about the youngest and chan said they originally write in korean and then translate to japanese , the japanese version is a little different when it comes to lyrics but they both slay , it was written by 3racha and versachoi and produced by bang chan and versachoi
as for the album , the B sides are songs we've heard because they have this little section on their channel that is skz play and skz record (skz replay) , where they post covers or original songs so the B side songs came from that which it's the biggest win for ppl (like me) that have always wanted the songs on spotify and can finally have it , imma say you guys gonna be surprised by lee know and felix the most when it comes to the A side songs and i can see you guys loosing your minds over doodle

Conveniently, though, a STAY uploaded that original video with eng subs baked in, which makes things easy: ruclips.net/video/hsNHapj4Dno/видео.html
As with all their songs that have multiple language versions (Korean + English "Double Knot," Korean + English + Japanese "Slump," etc), the lyrics are changed a bit depending on which language is used, for the sake of flow and rhyme scheme and whatnot, but the overall message of course remains the same.
💚💚💚💚💚💚💚
Please listen to fam original version in Japanese 😊😊😊😊😊. Can't wait for you to listen to limbo , doddle...... limbo is so wild..

i want a reaction of limbo by Lee know
You should turn on the lyrics next time! They are indeed like a family. In the chorus they literally say "we see each other more than we see family". Just the way they talk about one another in a way that is not forced, you can really see their appreciation for each other
well they do speak both Korean and English so I'm sure they can understand most of it without subtitles 😅
Please react to Felix- Deep end
