Battery life you mention is incorrect. If heart, stress, O2, temperature sensors are all ON and wifi OFF, e-sim not installed, no excersising, no messaging, no AOD, and very limiting use of the watch the max. is 2 days !!!! There is an irritating lag of almost 2 seconds, the curved screen gives irritating reflections and in general the watch reacts slow. Moreover there is no NFC, ECG, e-sim support and blood sugar functions in The Netherlands.
How's this possible? I got the standard 4 because of the size and just tested it last for full 3 days with all that on and on top of that recorded 3 training sessions for about 2 hours. Lag is basically non existent on my unit, I'm extremely impressed with the smoothness actually. It's smother than every other watch I have in my collection besides Apple Watch.
@@user-ij8no5zw6u- I have no idea, I am so dissapointed. I am now on 38% after 22,5 hours and not having it on my wrist during the night. So 2 days it will not even manage ! My GT3 pro could really go for 7 days and using it much more intensive. What I do not understand is that if you switch of wifi and do not have an esim (and to be sure switch off both mobile data and esim in the settings) and only use bluetooth, the 4 pro should have the same batterylife if not better than the GT3 pro. I should have bought the Ultimate. Will try to return it but this is always very difficult if it is bought directly at Huawei. Also the lag is very irritating. If you press a button on the screen it takes 2 seconds to execute it (is it caused by the warm weather and the fact that the air is dry ?). Full map navigation also does not work, If you dial in an address on the watch and press search, it always gives network error (even when I switch on wifi whch is connected). It also gives a message on the watch first that I have to update petal first but it is the latest version already !!!
@@sharebeliever4718 Unfortunately seems like you've drawn the short straw and even if you can't return the watch, you can require warranty. I'll confirm again that there's basically no lag and locally its 30*C. Also I wear the watch at night with SPO2 and all tracking ON. You having the Pro version should do at least 4 days. I haven't tried the maps yet, but intend to do so....there was a catch there I think, but nothing worse than on the other watches.......Just tried it actually with Petal Maps and it seem to work as intended.

Normally I never buy directly from Huawei but this time there was a 30 euro reduction in price and a free scale 3. Probably it was not a new watch but an example used for reviews/testing and the reviewers treted the battery badly. Also when I charge the watch it becomes extremely hot and every time it switches itself to flight mode !!!! charging takes also more than 2 hours, especially from 94% to 100% takes ages.
However, ECG is just a "feature". I have GT3 pro and tried this function many, many times. The sensor I think is OK, I mean on the graphic I can see that it detects the extrasystols, you can see them clear, but the interpretation says always ECG is normal. I think it can inform you only about fibrilation. But if you have fibrilation I guess you do not need to diagnose it through the smartwatch. Yes, I know, "it is not a medical device", but at this moment, for me, that really needed that function, I say loud and clear that it is just usefullness. Just a feature, a joke!
