Minute 31:00, the narrator says "Pratt & Whitney" engine. I know some B777 were powered by P&W engines, but the most powerful engine in the market, at the time of the filming at least, is the GE90 from General Electric.
I love how the guy from Boeing talked about how they have safety systems in place for the pilot to be in full control of the aircraft, proceeds to put MCAS on the 737 Max without telling ANYONE….
The whole idea, is the piston engine is one of the ultimate human designs, which led to the jet engine, which is completely ridiculous outside a military context. So, the ultimate airplane would be like a privately owned Super Plane, Boat plane, with internal combustion engines, powering plasma jets, which is more efficient than propellers, with modern aerodynamics. Then, in addition to turrets, and radiological equipment, for defense, You have interceptors, with jets, to dispatch enemy aircraft, while the turrets buy time. With modern electronics, computers, and aerodynamics, and VTOL, the interceptor will link back up with the plane, to refuel.
That’s how you assemble an hi tech aircraft!! Looking at Boeing planes being chucked together like a ford truck!! No comparison! If it’s a Boeing I ain’t going!!
