I just got the Ranvoo yesterday and it does not do well if the sun is beating down on you. All I felt was warm air blowing on my neck in the 80 degree weather we had yesterday. I am a Geek and I love technology and I really really tried to like the AICE3 but I gave in and it goes back to Amazon on Monday!
Sorry to hear that. I use mine all day in 101f over 350f asphalt. I noticed a HUGE increase in ambient heat if I'm not wearing it. Don't get me wrong, it's still hot even while wearing the Aice3, it's just much worse without it
Question about the Coolify 3. If you go outside and you are in say 80 degree weather and the heat from the sun is coming at you, do you feel cold air (I mean cold enough to cool you off) or hot air blowing at you? I think the drawback with either of these devices (besides the battery drain) is that since the hot air is all around you from the hot temperature, is that the hot air blows along with whatever coolness that these devices give off. It’s like going outside in the hot weather and blowing a fan on a chunk of ice to try and cool yourself off. Your still going to get hot air along with the coolness from the ice chunk blowing at you and the hot air is going to overcome what little coolness from the chunk of ice has. I feel that since both devices work off of “peltiers” (this is what produces the cold) that I’m going to get the same hot air blowing at me with either the AICE3 or the Coolify 3. Just my speculation.
I'm completely enamored with the delightful button sound of the AICE3! It's akin to always having a charming little companion with me. But don't let its intelligent features confuse you - its cooling capability is where it truly shines. Thanks to the AICE3, I could stand comfortably and refreshed in the scorching heat of nearly 40°C while attending a concert in Thailand. Your comparison helped me realize that AICE3 is indeed the wisest choice.😆

Hello, my friend. I am running the RANVOO business and happened to run into this video by chance. That sounds a pretty cool idea. I'll talk to my product people about that. Like the author heard from our Jack, the customer support guy, we are already shipping out the first batch of sensor covers. Properly attached, it would obstruct the sensor from directly touching the back of your neck while still functioning. That I personally tested worked fine. In fact, the sensor doesn't warm up at all, but the feeling of warmth is caused by the widened temperature difference between the uncooled back and the cooled sides of the neck. Cheers and thank you for supporting RANVOO!
I just got the TORRAS 2S and Aice 3 in, and actually I prefer the 2S which was much cheaper, and has just as good if not better fan speeds, and gets just as cold. The Aice 3 does more, but my Apple Watch does it better… and the 2S feels better around my neck
