    Love the poncho's stitch pattern. The serape poncho reminds me of Clint Eastwood's western movies.

      So glad you like it. I hadn't thought of ol' Clint, but now that you mention it... now I can't get him and his Serape out of my mind lol

      Those are the colors I would use for myself so yes I'm all for that! Sounds great, but maybe in two shades of grey. This pattern really looks better the more colors that you use. I wish you the best on your poncho!

    You almost said it right.
    Anyway, it looks wonderful 😍 love it. I mean it looks beautiful but I like how it fits and covers the back. Scarves are great but I was looking for something to cover my back from these cold drafts. Thanks!

    Love this!! Thank you!! And I've always pronounced as sera-peh (as in meh). :) I do early California history re-enactments and I think this would be great for the winter months.

    You say it is even +1 and then you start with even. Which is it please?

    • @Whistlebritches1

      From what I watched, you need an even amount of stitches, so it depends if you use the foundation double or a chain and then go back and double crochet back across. I hope that makes sense. Lol. You need 2 stitches for this pattern and then a regular double crochet at the end and beginning of each row

    I like this serape, but what size hook? In the notes it says J hook and on the pattern it says H hook 😮

    • @Meladora1
      @Meladora1  Год назад +1

      I fixed it on the pattern, thanks for that. It's a 6 mm / J hook

      This is the tutorial. I show you the stitch and tell you the amount I chained for the size I got. All other info is on pattern page.

      If you've ever made a row by row afghan then you can do it! It's a simple repeat and two pieces sewn together, it's very beginner friendly ❤
