I picked this coat up recently after watching this video and I love it, its so soft and looks amazingly sharp! I do second sizing up, I ordered an L like I normally would and returned it for an XL which fit me perfectly. Anyway, thanks for the review!

@@MichaelHsu95 to be quite honest with you I was surprised to hear that you went with the XXL. I just lost some weight and was at 180lbs a few months ago and can't imagine fitting an XXL. That jacket does look badass on you bro, for sure.

It's a good looking jacket, but the sizing on all the Iron and Resin products doesn't make sense to me. You're an XXL?? I normally wear an XL 'off the rack'... 5'11", 48" chest and 34" waist. Stocky / muscular build and if I look at their sizing I'd have to get an XXXL or XXXXL to fit the shoulders and chest... and the sleeves would engulf my arms. Their products look nice but I'd never buy one online given the sizing they show.
Yes an XXXL OR XXXXL sounds correct. The sleeves aren’t too long. And what’s nice about them is that they make exchanging sizes soo easy. I had to change to a bigger size and got it within the same week
Good quality jacket, good materials but poor reproduction, the RAF jacket like the B3 does not have pockets, that jacket that is supposed to be the Irving of the RAF, has the neck strap on the opposite side, anyway..... .good quality, good garment, but not good reproduction.
Nice jacket, but there is NO WAY that should be an "XXL"...that's actually kind of laughable if I'm being honest. That's an L jacket. Like, seriously, what were they thinking with their sizing.
@@MichaelHsu95 I agree it's really nice, especially all the grain in the leather. But I don't think they even have a size big enough for me. I'm 5'11" 270 lbs. Big upper body, broad shoulders, powerlifter type body. I wear XXL t-shirts and polo's. although some are too small.
Just to point out your jacket is not a Lesley irvin jacket, but a copy of an irvin. The irvin has only 1 neck strap with double o rings not buckle holes, and a single waist adjustment belt, irvin also use a YKK brass zips, your jacket is ok but definitely not irvin quality, which are made by aviation leather craft in the uk. I have 2 irvin originals myself very nice flying jackets.
@@MichaelHsu95 yeah I seen that on there website just wanted to let you know that It wasn't an irvin flying jacket, they should not be aloud to call these jackets "IRVIN" it is like false advertising for customers who want the real McCoy and get a copy of sorts of one.

@michael I’m 5’ 10” 185-190 depending on the season. I like a slim fit. Do you think an xl is the right size? I’m a lifter, cross fitter type body.

Also as you mentioned to size up, thier jackets in my experience do run small
Yes their jackets really do run small. I have to size up 2 sizes. But I really love their jacket, great quality and looks awesome 🔥

Definitely agree with you, their sizing is totally off. But this is an awesome jacket, my favorite shearling jacket for sure 🔥
