    Thank you! I grew up in Hamilton at the same of this film. I no longer live in Canada and it is so nice to see this. It brings back many memories.

    Thank you for this! As a kid growing up in downtown Hamilton from 1976-1988, I would've been the same ages as the students in these 8mm home movies.

    I remember the snow storms of 1977-1978. Slush, 4' high snow banks. Great scenery for the Odeon Theatre! I've been in city hall, maybe once or twice, in 40 years.

    I remember the ODEON it had the newest best sound and visual system for that time, I remember it was always busy! the pinball arcades, the original Eatons, Robinsons, Ice skating indoors upstairs in Jackson Square near where the LCBO is now, the Gore Park underground washrooms with the huge scale you could use for 10 cents

    I remember go to the odeon threatre with my buddy to see a horror movie back in the days.

    It is depressing to think about how much Hamilton has declined in recent decades. Their NDP mayor Andrea Horvath has no ideas whatsoever about stopping the decline, other than to declare a state of emergency due to illegal drugs and crime.
