Martin OM-21 Special

Martin OM-21 Special builds on one of Martin's best kept secrets, the classic OM-21. This special edition adds a fatter low end without losing the unmistakeable 21 tone. Somehow this guitar is a beefy sounding OM-21 without losing that unmistakeable 21 tone. its rosewood bindings, herringbone rosette, ebony fingerboard & pyramid bride. The pickguard is upgraded to nitrate tortoise, giving some Golden-Era styling. I expected it to shine on fingerstyle pieces (and it did just that) but its quite a strummer as well.

I just pulled the trigger on an OM-21 Special. It's absolutely one of the best acoustics I've ever played. Thank you for this video, Jarvis. Without it, I would have never even known this guitar existed.

Question is this as good for flat picking as it is for finger picking.. I know the spacing is 2 5 /16 I don't finger pick but love the guitar TX

this is the best guitar i have heard.. soo much better than the regular om-21 i can't believe it... it sounds so balanced and sweet. no mud, no harshness. just sweet and full sound

this guitar is ridiculous. I've flipped a lot of acoustics in my time, many more expensive, but I kept this one. among the various santa cruz, collings, limited 4XX-run signature martins, and the om-21 special has some serious high-end tone in something much more affordable that you dont have to constantly worry about dinging at a gig. also has short scale AND a low-profile neck, sweet choice for small hands doing thumb-over chords at the bottom frets, but it does get quite fat near the neck.
