Man I've been waiting for an updated core battery with USB C charging but man you guys went all out on this one! I'm gonna power my 6K PRO and maybe also my future cameras with the snap. Even with the idea of one snap battery as the base of the rig and then just snap another one as the rotating battery. The flexibility is amazing. Its like a v mount plate with extra p tap ports but this time its actually a battery so less hassle and weight etc... insane. I swear this battery is pure genius. Hope to get one soon!
👊👊👊
Perfect solution for our Canon R5C…that thing definitely needs the additional power
So many ways to use this on camera and the ability to charge things like your laptop on a flight makes this such a game changer
Love the ability to charge multiple with one PD charger! I could see using this for my gimbal setup to power the FX3 or FX6.
So awesome! I would definitely use to power monitors, especially follow focus or director monitors.
This is going to revolutionize on set power management! This is so awesome, and at a really affordable price point! Thank you Core! (I'm in awe!)
Would definitely power my a7siii with this 👌🏼 and just use it as a power bank on set when not attached to my camera
Both this and the Pyxis will be available in June, and I'm definitely going to get this for the Pyxis.
This is a great battery for hand-held and gimbal work.
Definitely my Canon R5C would be a perfect fit for these along with it's external monitor!
I saw this at NAB, big Joe (Other Joe) showed it to me. Fantastic! I will run my fx3 when I have it mounted on my truck on the border!
Saw this in person at NAB - amazing I would have bought it then and there, but unfortunately not ready yet
Perfect for power my Sony FX# and accesories like TX/RX system and follow focus!
The parallel charging & hidden V mount are great! I’d love to use this to power up my A7Siii :)
Small enough to fly on a gimbal. Would power on camera monitor / wireless follow focus unit
Very cool!!!! I'd use for extra accessory power on the Alexa 35 for running things like the rain spinner, etc.
Amazing work core!!! Can’t wait to put these to work! The new plate is incredible 🙌🙌🙌
I would power up my old Panasonic DVX 200 (which I still use all the time)
These look great! I’m looking forward to powering my 60c light continuously with multiple hot swaps as well as using it during broadcasts when the camera doesn’t have a p-tap for my external monitor. Very exciting!
YOU ARE THE WINNER! Congrats! I will reach out to you on Instagram.
I've got a film coming up where I Need to shoot 90% of the film in a car so I need to shoot with my GH5s and anamorphic lenses on a DJI RS3 Pro. This battery can power the camera, the Teradek and a HDMI to SDI converter.
I’d use it with my Red Komodo and would power my monitor, fiz motors and the camera itself, from one battery
I would power a mirrorless camera with monitor. (USB c to camera, d tap to monitor)
That plate needs amount passthrough power so a powered plate can take all of the accessories. Otherwise this becomes kind of a weird battery that needs an extra cable to power the camera itself. And you can't power small lights without a barrel cable. Less cables, the better!
Don't worry. Just getting started 😉
My BMCC6k cuz booooy I need it! 😅
Trying to power my lumix s5iix cleanly. I think I found the solution.
Too bad the plate can't double as a V-mount converter. Would make a great modular battery for travel lights that way… Guess I'd be using these for the camera and monitor in that case
This is just the beginning...we can show all of our cards at once. 😉
I’d power my external monitor!
I'd power up my Red Komodo + SmallHD monitor! but please, could you make one pass through v-mount to use as the first connection? So that it has the traditional pins at the bottom of any V-mount that connect to a V-mount plate. Otherwise this won't be able to power lights with v-mount plates, or anything else with a native v-mount plate.
This is just the beginning 😉
I love you and care very much about this
where can I buy this?
p.s. for the giveaway entry: I would power the GH6 camera.
It will be available on our website www.coreswx.com as well as with all of our dealers. Should start shipping in June.
Any plans for a screen to check estimated battery runtime?
This is just the beginning for Snap, so I will let them know about your suggestion.. Thank you for the suggestion and feedback 🙌
@MattMurnan is the winner of a Nano 98X!
Power for the Canon R5c is a well known issue for 8k60 with lens control. Can you tell me if the auto power delivery would work with the Canon DR-E6C DC Coupler for EOS R5 C ? No one has come up with an easy solution for using a dummy battery and a Vmount battery.
❤
I’d power my Tesla
😂
