Man did you age well! You look like you’re in your 20s (and have the energy and enthusiasm to match), and this video was only made 8 years ago. Hope all is well sir!
William Hardister Weirdly enough I am in Florida at the moment. Miami actually, but only for another hour or two sorry to say. Hitting a plane back to the north west in a couple hours. First time I’ve been here pretty much since making the movie 35 years ago. What are the odds?
Absolutely bar none one of my favorite movies !!! I graduated in 1985 my buddy and i must’ve went and seen that movie 15 times , it is now july 15 2021 ya look pretty dam good for our age !!! But ill tell ya gettin old aint for the weak !! Lol can i ask what the final bid was ?? Cuz it definitely wasn’t enough , thats fir dam sure !!!!!!!!!
Do you ever keep in touch with the actors? I know Paul Land died and three others, can't think of their names. This movie was awesome and millions have great memories of the 80's
theedrstrangelove Think I saw a couple of the replicas in a box in my garage, and at only 1/10th the price. By Grabthar's hammer, what a savings! Right here: davidknell.com/springbreak/script/
I remember watched this film a Friday’s night. Time after, I get save the film in a vhs. O.T, Stu, Nelson and Adam!!!! The best friends to live a crazy summer!!!! Is the movie hotel still open?
Sadly the Breeze n Seas hotel is no more. Rumor has it they tore it down and put up a circus college. The good news is you can still get an original T-shirt here: davidknell.com/spring-break-breeze-t/ pretty cool, if I do say so myself.
Is there any chance of finding the song that appears in the credit titles at the beginning of the movie? It's called "Lauderdale Ladies", it's included in the film's soundtrack. But I can't find it anywhere.
David you were kind enough to answer the phone when i called you. I am such a huge fan of the movie saw it in the theater have it on VHS now on DVD but I listened to the soundtrack a billion times.. David I do not know anything about the group "Big Spender" ??? OK i saw the cool video as i paid the few dollars... ok Paul/Stu is gone and so is Richard B Schull/Eddie Potmore but can u please do another reunion?? This time also critique the bands in the movie and that EEEEsh what a karate guy huh??? I will tell you that Mr Ames... you guys had no right tying him up... He did not do anything wrong from my vantage point. Also no mention of the Henry Manfredini light seem with the "Jason/Friday the 13th sounds". But Nelson I do believe that you should have been more "reasonable" with your stepfather because Ernest Dalby is what Washington needed!!! Hey what happened to the Dalby for senator sign??? I want that!!! And those viscious police men.....they had no right "pouring" your stepfather in the back of that police car!!We all know that Jeri never paid her taxes she was a tax cheat!! Wrapping this exciting episode up but I will be back...if I ever hit the big lottery I will pay you to make an appearance to talk to all my olde buddies (we use to have about 10 to 12 pile in my tv room to watch Springbreak for the umteenth time) about the movie... did u mention it was No. 1 for 1 or was it 2 weeks?? Ok David later on!!!!

You were awesome in the movie!!! One of my favorite movies!!
It was a classic 80s Beach Movie
The Sunrise Inn, where the exterior and hallway scenes with Nelson and Susie were filmed, is now the Sonesta. I stayed at that hotel in March of 1980.

Many is the time I’ve been asked that very thing. No good answer so far. Someone ought to dig in and track down the band….
Funny movie.
