This is by far the best cover of alphaville's forever young I have ever heard and I've listened to the song since it came out in the 80s.
What a voice! A stunning woman and a stunning voice, for one of my favourite songs and lyrics ever! Love this song so much! “Forever young”. I can’t grow up. I’m 52 now, but this song makes me want to climb trees, I want to run through corn fields, and to ride my BMX bike, I want to look in streams for fish and water beetles, and want to go to the corner shop and buy sweets, I want to see my Nan, and want to roller skate, I want to read my teenage magazines, and want to use my rod and fish, I want to go to youth discos, and want to play in the garden..........I’m Peter Pan, will always be, life is too short, this modern world is too grown up, I’m not childish, just childlike!
