I'm having trouble, I open the drain off but nothing comes out. How do I drain down now? Thanks

Find another drain off or the system from a radiator is the safest bet. Otherwise if you're changing the PRV use the PRV, pump the vessel with PRV open. Then when it's empty crack the return nut under the boiler and catch anything that's left. Hope that helps.
