The Clash - Complete Control [Live]

Death or Glory, the UK's newest and youngest tribute to The Clash performing Complete Control live at Turnpike Gallery in Leigh, 10th February 2024 as part of the Pete Shelley Memorial Campaign's Rock Against Hate event. The event, featuring a Buzzcocks tribute and ska band Skafull was for Hate Crime Awareness month, with the view of recreating the original Rock Against Racism events from 1978. To mark it, Death or Glory played the exact same set that The Clash played at Victoria Park in 78 - This was our opener.

Why was the lead guitarist the only one singing C-O-N CONTROL at the end????? The bassist and drumming should have been right there with him screaming that out with the audience!! That’s the orgasmic climax of that phenomenal song!

Great band name, excellent cover of a brilliant song.
I'm lucky (old) enough to have seen The Clash live in their heyday a few times, nothing else ever came close but it's great to see their spirit and fire still inspires.
