Sorry to anyone who's already see this but I had to reupload this video because RUclips didn't send it to anyone's subscription feeds, I checked with multiple different accounts and it didn't show up on any of them and didn't even appear on my channel on a couple of the accounts. Guess RUclips's just really hating on my mad Excel skills 😤

I never in a million years would have thought I'd hear 'Making Music' and "Excel' in the same sentence.
You can do a lot of stuff in Microsoft's Office software that goes beyond what it's "supposed" to do. It's still surprising, though.
If you want a real mind trip, there are videos about programming using PowerPoint slides (including some neat fractals).

We already had this in the late 90s, it was called Screamtracker 3. Well before that there were trackers for non PCs like the Amiga. It was a marvelously simple way to make good sounding music.

Think a little about how tech advanced from 1980 to 2000 and then compare it to what happened the past 20 years... and no its not "better" to have 100.000 times the computing power in your *-Core smartphone, than what they had when they went to the moon, but somehow still need half a minute to boot.

Man, you make better music in Excel than I'm able to do with Cubase, FL Studio, or LMMS.
There is a bit of a stutter now and then that is jarring, but considering what is used for tracking.. that is amazing.
