What a beautiful demonstration of the human will being put to great use. The determination of the riders is epic. The support from the crowd just heart warming. The passionate people all participating in the struggle. Just wonderful to see.
@@hunterhutchison3339 Jarvis is 180cm, García is 173. Check all the finishers and and count how many are below 180cm, just García. Other than that, Jarvis is pure talent but if he were 10cm shorter he would struggle far more than he does.

Erzbergrodeo Red Bull Hare Scramble 2019: Checkpoint 22 removed during the race due to severe safety concerns Addition to the Red Bull Hare Scramble race report 2019: Erzbergrodeo track manager Hans Werth decides to take checkpoint 22 "The Killing Leap" out of the race after leader Graham Jarvis has passed the section. Right after Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Rider Graham Jarvis (UK), who was in first position ahead of all competitors, did pass the track section leading to Checkpoint 22, this particular section had to be removed because of safety concerns. Hans Werth, Erzbergrodeo's track manager in charge, explains the decision: "When our track building crew noticed that track markers and track tapes were removed at this section by unknown persons just before the race, Jarvis had already entered this section. The missing track markers and tapes caused a severe safety risk for the following riders as a worst case could have even lead to opposing traffic on the racetrack. After consulation with race director Karl Katoch we immediately decided to remove the affected section from the race. For Graham Jarvis, who has thoroughly inspected the section in the days before the event, there was no safety risk as he was leading the field by several minutes. Jarvis absolved the section with no mentionable problems despite the missing track markers." "In consulation with Peter Nesuta, the Erzbergrodeo's head of time keeping, we also decided to regain the 6 minutes margin to Jarvis at the finish if necessary. This measure was not necessary as Graham won the race with an impressive performance.", says Werth, Nesuta and Katoch. Kind Regards, Martin Kettner
All pro riders using 2 strokes. Bikes have some custom mods but mechanics do not tell what they are. When you push the clutch lever, you understand something different from the stock.
Last year Graham was a whopping 5-6 minutes behind the leaders and ended up winning, this year he was 2 minutes behind and lost 3 minutes before Green Hell because of the lack of flags pointing the right direction and he almost lost the race.
I ride dirt bikes. But I don't care for this type of extreme stuff. Almost unpassable areas. I don't get it. Not interesting to me. More like Trials bike courses than a real Hare Scramble.
1:36 the best part of the video (top left)

Green Hell is always exciting.
20:11 this is why Enduro tops all of the others. True friendship and sportsmanship. 👍🙈🙊🙉
20:00. Teamwork from opposing teams. Epic. If only the rest of us practiced that in our daily lives......
that was so good
So much better than the Redbull coverage. Imagine what these guys could do with even half of the Redbull budget...
Thanks man. Our budget is 1/1000 if you compare to Redbull
For sure, redbull footage is always poop.
Love that the crowd is cheering for these guys
So much two stroke noise 😍
Awesome . Billy bolt helped his fellow riders out. Thats the way it should be. Such a awesome environment.
Insane footage! better than RedBull! You guys are killin it!! thanks!!

Excellent video - those guys/girls are really doing the hard work there. The struggle is real...
Awesome job!! Many thanks to you!!! From Portugal
billy. teddy and jhonny very helpfull rider! good job men!
Josep Garcia shows how important height is for Hard enduro, if you can't help with legs to paddle, you suffer too much.
Is that why Jarvis won and Garcia didn't
Hunter Hutchison is that a serious question!

Anyone know what all kinds of mods they do to their bikes? And do they have to all ride 2 strokes?

2 stroke more lighter than 4 ... I think

Well if you finish this course you're basically a god of enduro, I think that's enough motivaton for most people.
