You’re so gosh darn knowledgeable on cameras! Every video I’m in awe of how much you know 😍😍 spitting so many facts, it’s hard to keep up!

I had never heard of that camera so thanks for the review. I learn every day. Looks like a interesting shutter release to play with

Solid Results with the Start, but yeah that shutter release is really weird! Excellent review, now I know I don't want to even touch one lol!

@@AlysVintageCameraAlley Honesty is a good thing! But my decision comes from my trust of your view of the camera!

Never really heard about the start up till now however i do have a camera from around the era Nikon F came to market a Praktina IIa mady by KW a profesionall system camera, it used a proprietary bayonet, there are six or so lenses for it, came with a few accesories as well like motor drive, diffrent viewfinders, bulk film back, since it used a knob to wind there was also a Winding lever addon tho i have only seen one for sale.

I might be mistaken, but I think the lens is the early version Helios, with 13 blades, which is rarer and quite sought after. Btw, congratulations to you both! You will both be great parents! :)

This review is *lovely*. It's nice to see you again. You're very honest about the struggles of to staying motivated, which I appreciate so much. Keep being awesome!

Interesting sounding camera! I have a couple cameras I’d put in that same category of not an every day shooter, but I really like it and the lens is outstanding!! Fun to see a new vid and I’m excited to see the review of the Nikon lens next!!!

I have that same lens. It was tricky finding adapters to, in my cast, a Sony body but I love the results.

Congratulations on the baby. You better get as much as you can done now, once the baby arrives you won't have time for much of anything for the first year. They are just that much work and really so much fun that you don't really want to do much else. Get a good point and shoot with auto focus to get as many pictures as you can. They may be small but they can really move. Never have been that much of a fan of the old USSR cameras. They have always seemed rather clunky and clumsy to me. It does look as if the fixer is dead but I kinds like the grain in those images.

Thank you. Yes it’s definitely going to be a crazy year. I hope I can still get my camera therapy in.
Yea idk what happened to my fixer. Usually I can use it 11 times. This was after only 4.
