Vivek has started the ball rolling. Its now for all Mumbaikars to keep it moving in the right direction. Be vocal and put pressure on both the civic administration and the state government for results! Everyone's life is precious! And, yes, let's share ideas for solving the various problems. Thanks Vivek for making this bold video 🙏❤️!!
If only lateral thinking was taught in educational institutions. And I agree with you that children often give us insightful solutions, maybe because they don't put any limit on their imagination.
You are right about infrastructure. Daily people from all over Bharat keep on coming and want to settle down in Mumbai by hook or crook that is the problem also.
The problem with Mumbaikars is that they have become immune to all these glaring issues which are affecting their quality of life in a mad dash to make more & more money. Nobody has the time or the inclination to pursue such matters. When they do get any time off, they either chill in front of the television or take off to nearby hill stations for recreation and rejuvenation. Instead, they should work to improve their daily life and environment to feel relaxed and rejuvenated in Mumbai itself!
wonderful Sir !!! on similar note i presented idea to my wife. plan for pune city !! yes i agree politicians are not enough ...we have to take effort ...
We all should support this creator since there are hardly few who encloses the Promble by a proper analytical Solution instead of just highlighting Faws👏

Encroachment is a huge issue in Delhi too but nobody really wants it to be solved because everybody does encroachment. Roads that used to be very wide when I was in high school have mysteriously shrunk over the last twenty years to the point where two cars can barely pass each other. Residential streets have become narrow lanes. All the houses have been turned into builder flats, and the balconies extend out so much that neighbors across the street can exchange things without having to descend to the ground. The entire city (except the VIP areas) looks like a chawl. And as I said, this is mostly the doing of ordinary citizens, I don't even think this can even be solved because any political leadership that tries to fix this will be voted out and never voted back in. Encroachment also causes flooding, because storm water drains are encroached upon. Few people would know that most streets in Delhi used to have wide storm drains on either side of the road (around a foot wide, two feet deep), but at this time most of these have disappeared. Homeowners first place some stones on top of the drain, supposedly to keep people from falling in. Next, they place a planter on top of the stone. Then they fill the drain with dirt. Finally, they extend the boundary of the ground floor to include the area formerly occupied by the drain. Then they build a huge ramp, extending say 3 to 5 feet. After a few years, they occupy this ramp area and build another ramp. And so on, the road gradually disappears.
Raj thackrey try to highlights this issue. crumbling infrastructure but nobody serious town planning. Indian people vote on emotional issue or freebees
By the time all the developments are done and Mumbai is all perfect, we just have few years to enjoy after that Mumbai will be submerged under water by global warming. Mumbai has to be protected by a giant glass sphere dome.
Biggest problem is migration to cities. If villages are developed, and provide facilities of school, colleges, hospitals, roads, job creation, footpaths to walk(no vehicular parking on it, no stall encroachment) between groups of villages, people will stop coming to such cities.
There is no economic activity in villages that can be at par with cities. Hence we will always have crowded congested polluted cities like Mumbai and Delhi
Ek trees plantation body ho jo make sure kare.. every individual is planting trees every year as per target set to overcome water and air pollution issues..kyoki jyadatar plants dikhawe ke liye lagaye jate hai aur wo mar jate hai..
These cities are called Rotten big cities New York also has its issues even Tokyo Japanese govt teir people to leave the city coz it is too much populated

Solutions: 1. We need more discipline and less democracy. 2. Population control or equal distribution of population across urban and rural areas. 3. Smart cities. 4. Stop copy pasting western lifestyle and solutions to Indian problems. 5. Reducing traffic bottlenecks.
📣Instead of focusing on the main issue to make Mumbai a better & sustainable place. People in the comments section are arguing about Bombay vs Mumbai. That's the problem with the Indians. They like to fight in the name of cities & languages.

to be very frank sir, this is the situation for almost every city in India if not the world. You atleast creating awareness but others not, thats the only difference. I have lived my entire life around central Delhi and now I avoids going back to the city which is so dear to me. Delhi is the best template of worst cities in the world, Mumbai's or any Indian city's problem is nothing as compared to Delhi. Delhi is dying with poisonous politics, water, air, people, culture and no one is taking care of the capital. Current AAP govt is the worst govt Delhi can have but poisonous minds and people, only because of free beeies, not able to come out of that demon's clutches. AAP in Delhi came out of Political void created by the corrupt politicians which the people are suffering every second.
Preach brother. I too miss the Delhi I grew up in but it just makes me depressed to visit anymore. And it's the common citizens that have ruined the city through unceasing encroachment and now through builder flats.
The solution u said is not happening in india any sooner than 2050 (conservative estimate) Coz ppl dnt take up their roles as citizens.. Politicians ko elect kr diya ab sab wohi sambhale, muncipality hai to kachra hum phalayange nd muncipality is to clean it. Etc. And the system is CORRUPT. Problem of spitting... Ppl just dnt realise how filthy is spitting around. India is just not civilized yet. These all will pace up only if per capita income of ppl crosses $20k
Bhai Tum Problems Hai Bolte Ho, Par Modiji Har Problems Ko Solve Karte Hai... Yaha BOMBAY HIGH COURT hai naa... Aap PIL karo and videos 📹 se kya hoga janta is victims of all stupidity of their elected leaders. PIL Dalo Sir..
Respectfully, pretty unfair and unintelligent to compare to Mumbai with New York and London. It's not a case of corruption or mismanagement that keeps us back but rather low GDP. New York and London are many levels ahead in terms of economics, technology, etc which creates huge amount of wealth and therefore makes good administration possible. Whereas Mumbai (and so is rest of India) massively unadvanced in comparison, as a result good administration is practically impossible. Also remember how massively West even today dictates fate of countries like India. Being in such position, depravity like corruption is only normal. We ought to become advanced in every sense to become better.

Strongly feel for all the subjects you’ve covered here. How can we as ordinary citizens help?
Thank you Vivek ji for sharing the problems of a common citizen. I hope that people become more aware of about the actual meaning of right to life.

Bombay was a name given by colonizers and Mumbai is a name derived from Hindu goddess 'Mumba Devi'. So you choose which name you should say.

मुंबई कहे अब ये ऑफीशियल हो गया है. और दुसरी बात बंबई ये Bombay शब्द का अपभ्रंशित उच्चार है जो की अंग्रेजो की मानसिक गुलामी का प्रतीक है.
