Great video. Always well presented and informative. My wife and myself cyled the canal route 2 years ago around the time of your last video from llangollen. We very much enjoyed watching that. There last year on foot and I had the pleasure of filming the aquaduct by drone. Keep your videos coming.
Done that route a few times, the aquaduct is about 5 and half feet deep and full of very cold water, ive been told, its a lovely ride as well, as for walking the bike accross on a mtb when passing people best to wait , and lift bike bars up over the top of railings or fit them through the bars, to make room for paople to pass, some are very affraid of both water and heights and even us cyclists.
Thanks for the advice, very helpful as it’s a right squeeze and agree can certainly be scary for some. I watched some videos recently of the aqueduct when it was emptied for maintenance, a very cool thing to see!
Thanks for sharing the route and loads of history. I think I will be doing this soon. Great video.
Glad you enjoyed it! It’s a nice ride, especially when joined with route 85. Thanks for watching and happy cycling!
