😢 Wonderfully sad and beautiful at the same time, Erato. I'm really enjoying Pomme's music so far because her lyrics and often visuals are very potent, but her delivery is comparatively subtle, almost detached from the passion they arose from. For me, the contrast definitely conveys a deep sadness, perhaps even a numbness that's quite arresting and, for this piece in particular, gives rise to a sympathy grand as a life invented. The lyrics seemed straightforward enough, though I felt like I was probably missing some subtext from the official music video. So I ended up watching a fan-made video edit by a channel named "Peachy Sadness Juice", 😆 which I can't help but love, using cuts from the French movie, "Blue is the warmest colour." I thought they went perfectly well together and I was just curious to know if you happened to have seen it, or if you'd share your own thoughts/interpretation of this song. 😊 Anyways, as always, I loved this so much, and thank you for sharing it! 🧡
Haven't watched this movie, but I think I know what the plot is. Anyway what you said about the lyrics rings really true. The lyrics of her songs are really beautiful and really really sad😭. They differ from other songs. As always thank you sooo so much for passing by!!❤❤ P.S. I watched the edit that you suggested too, it really fit the song!!
