You saved my ass guy, wet snow falling new construction white box. All controls removed and needing temporary heat. This conversion board was the solution to 6 Rtus! Right on.
I have 3 of the Trane units on the roof, controlled by 3 Trane Baysen Zone controls that are all located in the office, for the 3 different zones. Is there a way to add a CTI board to each unit, control the temps for each unit but still having the controls in the office? Maybe something newer tech wise, wifi capable?
You will need 3 CTI boards and I would recommend the Honeywell vision pro 8000 series thermostats, wifi version will require 3 wired remote temperature sensors, with the redlink version you can use wireless temperature sensors and a gateway to connect them with app
I have a couple photos of the board I have in these 3 units, I would like to upload, or forward to you. I want to be sure I can use the CTI boards before I order them. @@D2DNYAC
@@D2DNYAC yes. We have a system that has never worked correctly. To upgrade is astronomical in price. We had them switch a few roof top units over the years to thermostats. We (church) just don’t have the huge money to do the upgrade. Even just getting them to put in thermostats is just too much. (That’s not a smash on the trade or costs, we just don’t have it. ). It looks so complicated.
Thank you for the response. I am dealing with a 2 Rogue Intellipaks. The Trane BCU died. The company I work for installed a Tridium Niagara JACE with a COMM 4 integration driver. The control of the unit last for about an hour maybe less and then the units reverts back to its own setpoints and not the commands we are sending it. I appreciate your response
Si no puedes conseguir uno de los termostatos recomendado por el fabricante que seria Trane o quieres usar uno moderno conectado a tu wifi, entonces vas a necesitar este TCM board para injertar tu nuevo termostato.
It’s called the TCM and the main difference between the older voyagers and the newer ones with the RTRM Reliatel is that the older ones use what use be call digital electro control. The new ones use direct electronic solid sate technology. Where the old one used an ac to millivolt signal. The new ones use what all units controls use a direct ac control. 24 volts does just about everything on off commands and analog inputs for sensors.
@eulises Flores is your Trane unit reliatel version ? If NO and you didn’t use the board I used in the video then no standard thermostat will work and you may ruin the main control board

Very professional technician
which one is reversing valve? W2?
I have never seen a heat pump with this application!
What do the numbers mean on the low voltage terminal board?
What numbers exactly?
Be more specific
Think he means where it's 1 to 16 where the actual stat wires hook up@@D2DNYAC
I installed the CTI board and re-wired the Terminal board on Voyager per the instruction and could not get the unit to run . Any suggestions
If you run test mode does the unit work?

Yes absolutely

If your RTU has reliatel CTI boards is not necessary

do you have a video on how to bypass a metasys to a thermostat
😲 no my friend
That’s a Johnson controls controller correct?

Do you know if this would work in an Intellipak?
No and I don't believe it will, and I never seen one being controlled from a single thermostat

Thank you for great video. You said that you did video with Reliatel board to any thermostat but I can not find. Please give a link to me.
Trane Reliatel boards works with any Standard thermostat without any additional accessories
I want fix 24 honeywel thermostate what can do
Don’t understand the question!
Sir,good day can share your idea. to convention wiring from the original peco thermostat to honeywell pro 5000.
Come again please?

Great content
Si o si hay que poner esa placa para poner un termostato común??
No habla Español

Please can you explain complete wiring diagram for trane package unit
Okay
Not all Reliatel boards can use conventional t-stats, even though they have the contacts on the board.
Thanks for watching
Well I feel stupid. I tried wiring in a thermostat and it didn't work. Turns out I didn't have the extra board. Whoops!!!!
Lol 😂
Thank you very much...

For install other thermostat should be install cti
Simplified🔥
Let's connect
Sure
Thank you

Enjoy all your videos......this one was kinda difficult to follow
I replaced the trane tstat with a regular tstat and now i have no power at the tstat. Could that be fixed with adding CTI to the system?
@eulises Flores is your Trane unit reliatel version ? If NO and you didn’t use the board I used in the video then no standard thermostat will work and you may ruin the main control board
Why not just use the Trane t-stat rather than add a conversion board and basic t-stat?
Some client wants options for thermostat WiFi mostly
CTI mean conventional thermostat interface.
Thank you for that 😂
